  • Hi there! I like to make wheat wraps with hummus and veggies, and then I use mustard or balsamic viniagrette for my dressing. :) I also like vanilla yogurt with fruit for breakfast, a snack, or a side dish.
  • I made this really yummy Macaroni Souffle a couple times. Here's a recipe for it, although it's a little different than the one I used. Actually, the recipe is the same, but some of the cheeses are different and Dijon mustard is on this recipe list. I used parmesan and cheddar cheese. The first time I made it, the paprika…
  • Oh, and I'm not sure if you've heard of Paranoia Agent, but it's one of my favorites! It's only a 13 episode feature, but I love it!
  • I used to watch InuYasha a lot, but I still really like Case Closed.
  • Welcome! I joined about 2 years ago, and this site has really helped me when I haven't strayed off track... haha! I love the community of people who want to support each other and offer advice. Good luck with your goals and you can add me as a friend, if you'd like! :)
  • I don't usually allow for these days. I try to be strict every day. However, if it happens that I have a bad day, I still log it, so I realize that it was not a good choice. Then I don't stress about it, because it happened and I can't change it. Then it makes me try even harder the next day. I had a bad day yesterday, and…
  • Wow. that's so great!!! Congrats and I hope you reach your final goal!! :]
  • Drinking more water seemed to help me lose weight, because once I started to drink enough water and I hadn't changed anything else in my diet, it became easier. Plus, I feel fuller when I drink a lot of water at a meal, so I eat less.
  • Stay motivated!! When you finally start to see results, it is so exhilarating to know that you are actually making progress! And I would make sure that you are logging your food correctly, putting the correct amounts and such. Good luck!! :)
  • And I second this!!!! :]
  • I like to listen to Lady Gaga when I work out. A lot of her songs are good for walking. As for running, I like Cascada and Christina Aguilera.
  • I'm looking to lose 15 by the first day of the new semester, which is Jan. 10. I'm on board!!
  • I really liked this article! It helped to motivate me, because many of these things I have heard before and it is reinforcing them. :]
  • First of all, I love working out because it is a good stress reliever for me. Plus, your body continues to burn calories after you've worked out, not just during. Here's an article if you want to learn more: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0846/is_8_21/ai_83911021/. I personally also like to work out because that…
  • Remember, you can't go back in time and change that you did it. One day isn't going to make a difference if you just get right back on track tomorrow. You can do it!! :) And congrats on your success thus far!
  • Thanks for posting this! It lifted me up today!! :]
  • I also know that it's bad for your plan to be too unbalanced. By this I mean you shouldn't be like 800 calories under one day and then the next day go over. Try to be the same amount under or over each day. I also eat at least 1200 calories, but then I try to be just 100 or 150 calories under. But being too much under is…
  • I'm pretty sure this would be counted in your lifestyle when you form your plan. You should have put sedentary, lightly active, active, etc. It estimates your normal physical activity.
  • I always eat at least 1200 and then I try to just have less than 200 left over of exercise calories. I'm afraid that I might eat too little, because that's dangerous. So if I burned 300 calories by working out, that gives me 1500 for the day, so I'll eat about 1300 to 1350. Seems to be working for me!
  • 1 cup = 8 fl oz
  • I liked this article, it sounds like a lot of common sense facts that I wouldn't have really thought about until now. Thanks for posting it! :)
  • Just one note, less calories = less energy, because calories give you energy. I'm not really sure what you should do. Maybe you should try to get more carbs in your diet. I mean, good carbs like whole grains, breads, etc.

  • I just log this as calisthenics, because sit-ups burn more calories than crunches.
  • Yes. You should eat your exercise calories, that's why they are added into your total calories for the day, in your food diary.
  • I personally like Women's One-a-Day. It's got so many good vitamins, including iron, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C, zinc, etc. As long as you take it with food, it shouldn't make you feel sick or anything. It's also good to look at your food diary and see which vitamins you aren't really getting in your diet, and then base…
  • Just another note: I heard that 70% of the time you feel hungry, you are really just dehydrated! So try to drink more water, and maybe it will at least help the hunger part of it!
  • It really takes a lot of motivation to break these habits. I know exactly how yo feel though, because I've felt like that, and I loooooove food. I would snack ALL the time because I just loved the taste of foods and because I was bored. It took me a while to keep reminding myself what this was doing to me. I was letting…
  • I definitely recommend Crystal Light and flavored waters! They are yummy! One thing I do to try to make sure I drink enough water: when I go to a restaurant I will say, "Okay, I have to drink two hole glasses of water before I leave", and then throughout the course of my meal, I can do it.
  • It would be cool if we kept in touch and posted our progress, since we all have a similar goal! And maybe we could all change our tickers to have that ending goals of losing 20 more pounds? Mine just happened to be already there!
