I love this idea, you can always use these, no matter what your workout evolves into! :)

I thought it was all about losing weight but it isn't, it's about dealing with the emotional issues that drive you to eat. And that is the hardest thing-- ever! Responding to these triggers in a different way-- it's easy for "others" to tell you to take a walk or chew gum or blah blah blah, but they don't have any idea…

I love the idea of using cottage cheese instead of dressing! Added protein, as well! Great tip! :)

Order the chicken and when you get it, immediately ask for a to-go box and pack up HALF of it right away so it is not on your plate.

Stinky perfume or lotions! Makes me gag, burns my eyes, and gives me a major headache! Be considerate of others.

One thing that I have learned about losing weight, so far (I have lost 70 lbs and have 70 more to go) is that it is a COMPLETE change of your life! COMPLETE! It is not only about losing weight, it is about every aspect of your life changing and most people are unaware and unwilling to change every aspect of their lives for…

From my experience, don't expect your body to do what you want, when you want; it changes in so many ways, not only in weight measured by a scale. My weight NEVER just slowly drops off, it goes in spurts-- like: three to six weeks with no loss, then one week with 6 to 8 lbs. lost. It's kind of like every stage is a plateau…

Did you start your period? I can gain 8 lbs in a day and a half if I am starting my period :S sigh...

Hi, my name is Lea, feel free to add me as well! :)

My husband met me when I was fatter (I've lost 70 lbs. so far) and doesn't care how fat or thin I am/get. He will eat what I cook but he is of no support. I'm on my own in this battle/journey and it is taxing, emotionally.

What amazing results in only nine weeks! Congratulaions on all your hard work!

I had forgotten about this-- thx for the laugh :))

I ran it through the MFP recipe section, and the calorie count for the entire batch is 1161. I have not made these so I do not know how many cookies it makes to know what the count is per each. Just thought I'd pass on this info. to all who are interested ;)

Don't beat yourself up for one cookie (unless it was the size of a dinner plate :)) ) But seriously, just acknowledge how it made you feel, remember that feeling, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move forward with your fitness plans and goals. :)

I make a monthly menu plan, it helps me to know what I will be buying when I go to the store so that I can stick to my list, and it helps me to know how may calories I will be eating in a day so that I can add something special if I choose. I know a monthly plan sounds daunting and it IS difficult at first, but once you…

Oh, poo, I just read your comment about not being able to reheat :( Well, I guess you oculd use the things I wrote about previously but just eat them at room temperature. Meatloaf sandwiches or wraps, perhaps?
-
You could mix up a batch of meatloaf meat and put it into a muffin tin and freeze it, then pop out and store in a zipper bag to bake one at a time, or you can just bake the entire muffin pan full of mini meatloaves and then freeze them individually for nuking to rewarm. I do this with crustless quiches or egg muffins, I…

I would like to strongly suggest that you see a physical therapist- this person can suggest exercises that you can do while healing that will help you stay on track but not endanger your healing. Also, do you have access to a heated pool? Like at a gym or health club? That would take the weight off your feet and still…

I think you could be right about the quitting smoking thing, just my guess.
