I love body pump, body attack and spin all offered by les mills. My passion is running but I cross train to reduce knee strain. I have always worked out but it was not until the pounds started to come off that I began to some definition. All compliments to body pump which at present I do 2x per week. I Find it a great full…

I am 5'2" and currently 125. Was 154. I cannot see myself at 115 as I think it would be too low for me. Don't let the scale be the only judge. I went from size 10 to a 4. I also lift weights a couple of times of week and the scale has not moved much in the last few months but I am in the best shape of my life. I do cardio…

Truly inspiring! Great job.

You should be very proud of yourself. You look amazing!

Congrats for quitting smoking! Making healthy changes should be done in smaller steps. You don't want to become overwhelmed as this would increase your likelihood to quit. Good for you. You can do this!

That sounds yummy!

I have always run over the years but doing more now than ever and I finally get the love for it! I ran one 16k race a few years ago but would like to register for an 11 k race in nov.

Purchased one to help me with knee pain encountered while running ( which was actually caused by issues with my IT band) few months back. Now I still use it regularly. i find when i don't the pain sometimes returns.

I have lost 26 pounds drinking a glass or so of red wine a few times per week. Moderation is the key!
-
I too am maintaining and would even like to lose 5 or so more. Started toning classes too and am running. Would love some friends who are in the same place. I am 41, 5'2" and 126 pounds

I got rid of all mine. I felt by keeping them was giving me permission to gain it back and I refuse to do that!

Very interesteing. I just lost 24 pounds eating 1200 cals and eating back some or all of my exercise calories. just up my cals to 1550 this week and weigh in on friday. It will be interesting to see what the scale says given all the advocates for eat more, weigh less. 1550 is still below a cut of 15% from my TDEE and what…

Same height, just lost 24 pounds so feel free to add it. You can do it. I started in Feb and never thought I would lose it as I have been trying for over 15 years.

The more I read on this issue, the more I am convinced it depends on the individual. I have lost 23 pounds following the 1200 calorie diet and eating back some or all of my exercise calories. I exercised around 6 times per week. Most people would say I did not eat enough but I lost every week consistently since Feb and…

I too would think you are eating too few calories. MFP has my daily calorie intake set at 1200 before exercise. I always eat back some or most of my exercise calories. Check out the group Eat More, Weigh less, it is awesome and I am thinking of upping my calories soon but what i have been doing has worked for me as I have…

I eat back at least half if not all of mine depending how hungry I am. I am set at a 1200 calorie by MFP and I NEVER eat below that. Always above it. I have lost every week. I have also allowed for one "cheat meal" per week which has not hindered my weight loss.

I use a cooler bag and plan ahead for the week. I eat alot of veggie/chicken wraps, raw veggies, yogurt, bananas and other fruitetc. Just make sure you pac ice packs in your cooler bag and you will find youself having to skip Dunkin Donuts and boy do I LOVE Dunkin!

I too had a strained IT band and the best thing i ever did was invest in a foam roller. worked wonders. Feel free to add me!
-
I have had some injuries related to running which affect my knees but is related to my IT band I think. I have found a foam roller for working out all the kinks and tightness really useful. I use it everyday and there are lots of excellent resources on line with a variety of exercises.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. i am 5"2' and 134. started at 152 with goal of 130. would love for you to add me.

Congratulations on keeping motivated. I find giving into the cravings sometimes actually help keep you on track if you don't get carried away with it. Sounds like you have things under control as you are almost to your goal.
