  • I don't know if I just made it wrong, but I could not make a good cup of bullet proof coffee. It would have a layer of oil film on it and was just gross
  • Do what you enjoy and relieves stress. I run and make a game out of it on the treadmill and crank up the dubstep when I lift! Get mad! Haha, and have fun with it!
  • Ugh, I fell off the wagon about 2 weeks ago.. gained about 4 back. This "lazy keto" idea did not work at all, haha. Time to start logging meals again!
  • Sounds really good. I need to come up with some recipes for when my parents visit in 2 weeks. I think it'll be mostly chicken, steak, fish, and the like.

  • You will get to your goal in no time! I'm so jealous. I'm around 5-6 weeks in and just started being able to routinely work out. Just haven't had the motivation or energy.
  • Hahaha, I haven't read that, but! I'm sure a meat and cheese diet in general can cause some #2 issues as well!
  • I meal prep also, and I usually pack almonds for snacks, steak or chicken with some goat cheese and broccoli, and prep a morning shake. Gets me through the day okay. By the time I get home, I'm not hungry, just tired, haha. I work 12s as well. It's a little rough when they start a food run around lunch. Usually if I get in…
  • I would push to 6 meals a day and stay within a calorie goal. Add MCT oil to just about anything to get your fat count higher. I use it for anything going in a pan, or dressings. Stock the fridge with eggs, cheese and heavy cream. I have about 6 types of snacking cheese in the fridge, but only use it for fat and protein…
  • Way to go!!
  • So, almost 2 weeks and watching everything I eat. I have to say though, this has been quite a satisfying change. I'm not overly hungry throughout the day and I have been figuring out some creative meals (tonight was bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with brie.. amazing). If I get a sweet tooth I've been whipping up some…
  • Sounds yummy! I'll have to try that one!

  • That's awesome, I was looking at that peletor bike with live classes from home. I haven't convinced myself yet, haha.
  • I'm going to have to try that recipe this weekend! I love naan!
  • Lots of water helps too between meals. I'm drinking about 16-32 oz between each meal and it helps with cravings.
  • Hi Charissa! I completely understand about the fear of starting a high fat diet. I was skeptical last week when I started and told myself that if I gained any weight, I was going straight to the gym and blowing this off! I'm at day 6 now and down 6lbs. Can't argue with results so I'll keep going! I need to walk more for…
  • That's awesome how far you've come! Any lessons learned that those of us just starting? My calories are set to 1200 as well, but it doesn't seem difficult so far to stay at that. I don't get mad if I'm a few above or below since my BMR is around 1700. I just tried making flaxseed crackers…
  • So, I made it yesterday and loved it. Egg salad. Simple keto-loving eggs! Today, I'm trying a little bit of a twist! 2 hard boiled eggs 2 T Mayo 1 T Mustard 1 jalapeno Broil jalapeno until darkened (be sure to keep a good eye on it and turn). Once skin is charred, remove from oven and wrap in seran wrap (will make it sweat…

  • That's awesome! My parents are coming to visit next month, so I get the struggle with food choices. For the coffee, I like truvia as a sweetner. It's a mix of stevia and erythritol so it doesn't process in your body like normal sugar. Glycemic Index is 0. For the trip, take some avocados, hard boiled eggs, bacon, and the…
  • You could try lining it with bacon as a crust! Or crushed pork rinds. Both keto friendly and it'll give it that crunch!
  • Awesome, thanks
