I think one of the most discouraging things one can be told when you're trying to lose weight is "You look fine, why do you need to lose weight?" or "Why are you eating so little?" I basically don't tell anyone that I'm dieting, because I don't feel like dealing with their reactions.

It means you need to eat more, and by more than just a few hundred. I recommend 2000, and if you start putting on more than 3 pounds, jump back down to 1200.

Read food labels! If you don't recognize a lot of ingredients or they are hard to pronounce... I wouldn't recommend buying it! Big things to avoid in food: - High Fructose Corn Syrup (Causes you not to feel as full so you eat more... also a study was done that found traces of mercury? This is banned in other countries, but…

Weird, I usually update my calories from my phone... and I always end up with less than a 100 to 1200 after factoring in exercise, and some days I go over 1200 even. (Minus yesterday! I just really didn't want to eat at 11PM! :P) EDIT: I think I'll start eating a 300 calorie breakfast, instead of a 200 calorie breakfast.

Except for yesterday, I always make up my exercise calories. I factor it into my diary, and then eat more to compensate. Yesterday I didn't because I exercised at like 10:30 PM at the 24 hour gym, then came back, had some tea, and went to bed. EDIT: Made my diary public.
