This is how I started my road to weight loss and I would do it again. My doctor suggested it. I did the first and second 17 days. By then I was off all the sugar, carbs and fats and had no cravings. I had lost 7 pounds and was feeling great! I was no longer a slave to the sugar! But....I knew myself personally would…

As soon as I saw the first picture....I knew! My daughter's scar matches yours. Decompression at 14 and now at 18 doing great. This is a great post all the way around. Your success is amazing and having watched my daughter deal with the crazy crippling symptoms of this condition, I so appreciate how you hung in there and…

Too funny! Love neighbors who are paying attention to their surroundings. What a funny but proud moment I am sure.

I love, love, love this thread! I am just getting started and this is very inspirational. The one thing I have noticed with my friends and pictures posted here. Is when you are fit and within your weight range....you just look younger! All of you look fabulous and happy!

I have this problem too! I hit the door and want to grab everything in sight. Before I know it I have eaten wayyyyy too many calories. One thing I have tired and it works pretty well is I drink a whole bottle of water on the way home. When I hit the door I can actually stop myself before I start swinging open kitchen…

Thought I would follow up. I added approximately 300 calories for the past 3 days and the scales have started ticking downward again. It appears my metabolism had stalled on too few calories. I know 17dd is around 1200 calories so I thought if I stayed there when switching over to calorie counting I would continue to see…

Boy am I impressed with you Mycrazy8s! Staying steadfast month after month with no weight loss is to be applauded. At this point, after trying so many things, I am not sure I will have the staying power for that long. I am not asking for a large weight loss each week, just some moment. I will keep you posted. PiCkLeLuV,…

Thank you for confirming that it is normal to gain a few. I am definitely burning more calories than I am eating. I am tracking everything and not eating my exercise points. The only thing that is different is adding in carbs. How long did it take until you saw weight loss again? I have to say I felt a lot better on the…

Shadow2soul, thank you so much for being so helpful. I have gone back examined my tracking and it looks like I avg around 100 grams of Carbs. Is that too high? I know you are right about patience but I guess the bottom line is I don't trust myself to do this correctly. I have done all the calculators, I am staying within…

Karindiane thank you for pointing me to the "Eat, Train, Progress". It is great information and can't wait to read it all! I love all the information on MFP, although I do have to say it is overwhelming.

Thanks everyone! It feels so much better to know I am on the same journey as everyone else. I am just a little sensitive about the weight loss. I tried WW for about 7 months and lost only 6 lbs. I went to meetings, consulted with the group leader with my tracker and still no luck. I went to the doctor and no health…
