If there is any way that you can get up before your kids and husband to get your "me" time in, I would suggest that. If you're not a morning person, it will be VERY hard to get up and get motivated to exercise, but just…

  • I've fell off the wagon before, and I also did REALLY bad eating & drinking a lot this weekend!! I started working out again today, eating really healthy, and I feel great so far! I wouldn't weigh yourself until the end of this week, so that you don't get discouraged. You can do...it's easy to get back on the weight loss…

  • Before joining MFP, I lost 6lbs., I have since lost an additional 3lbs., so a total of 9lbs. This is great; however, I feel that i have reached a plateau. I recently went down to 1200 calories a day, and some days, I don't even reach this calorie max, because of the exercise that I do. I am eating well and exercising, but…

  • I would do more cardio & less weight training. Also, if you really want to drop the pounds, don't have any days that you skip your diet. Stay on track everyday & don't have those cheat days. That alone will help you reach your goal much more quickly!!! Good luck. You can do it!

  • Thanks for the advice! I have had issues with milk products in the past, so I don't eat a lot of dairy, just occasionally a glass of milk every other day or so. I'm going to try to up my dairy intake for the protein benefits though. Thanks for your help!
  • Thanks for your suggestions. I guess what my problem is is finding foods high in protein, but LOW in fat. Any suggestions?
