Work for what exactly? Its a pretty big change and commitment for not knowing if it even works for your goals.

I prefer a fry pan also but this dish works great when that is not available. Nordic Ware Omlet Pan

Body fat percentage makes a huge difference. Most people are not used to seeing people with a lot of lean body mass either.

I have lifted 4 consecutive days when that is what my schedule allowed. Its not something I do consistently though so Im not sure how it could work out long term. When I did it it was heavy upper body/heavy lower body/hypertrophy upper/hypertrophy lower. You could also try heavy upper/heavy lower/day off/full body. Not…

Awesome work.

Some newer info on the subject. Not sure it changes much but thought I would share it. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25601394

I agree. Just didnt know what the OP meant specifically by "fit". Nutrients would still matter even for exercise though. Body composition, energy, performance and recovery will all be effected by nutrients (macro and micro).
-
I guess you would have to define "fit" but you could get leaner eating that way. Its a terrible way to look at fitness though. Nutrients matter.

Yep one of my favorite shows. Im not really a fan of the game shows though. He is still putting out good stuff on his Facebook page.

Very interesting. I saw something like this posted awhile back but I could not find it again. Overweight people with good health markers because they were active.

Sushi and Waffles. Not at the same time but I probably would anyway.

If you were not losing weight then you were not in a deficit. There is always some margin of error when calculating calorie intake and exercising. Eating a high percentage of your calories from fat can make any mistakes in counting worse because they are more calorie dense. If you dont like going low carb then pick a…

Well maybe another video will keep the gears turning. Im pretty sure the actual scientific studies linked earlier were not even considered. http://youtu.be/S7iLPJMEkiU

I would hesitate to offer lifting weights as a solution until you have the hump checked out by a Dr. The moobs could be because of being over weight or Gynecomastia. I had a nice set starting when I was over 200 pounds. :) Fortunately for me mine was just extra fat and not because of hormones. I started weight lifting and…

Sure you can write your opinion. And people can disagree with you.

Over consumption is a problem but modern people are eating to much of everything. I have not seen any evidence that " these refined and artificial sweeteners are killing more people in our society than GMOs." The article talked about HFCS and how it is processed in humans.
-
You cant find them because they dont exist. Fear mongering about sugar and sweeteners is just as bad as fear mongering about GMO. http://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2014/10/sugar_is_not_toxic.html

Did you know that there is little evidence that gluten sensitivity even exists? http://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2014/05/gluten_sensitivity_may_not_exist.html "when the placebo diet was identical to the baseline diet, subjects reported a worsening of symptoms! The data clearly indicated that a nocebo effect, the same…

http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/features/wonders-of-water "The IOM report did not specify requirements for water but made general fluid intake recommendations based on survey data of 91 ounces (that's 11-plus cups a day) for women and 125 ounces (15-plus cups a day) for men. Remember, these guidelines are for total…

I guess I dont understand your problem with what I am saying. This is my very first comment in this section. What if I just wanted to help people meet their goals? How is that just wanting to be right? There are other posters saying the same exact thing as me. Do they just want to be right also? Even if you dig into the…

Yes you said that. My responses above were not directed to you. Not sure why you felt the need to respond to me and tell me I was not listening and call me a misinformed know it all. When I just said what you said.

Why would I listen to someone tell me that a pill increased their weight? They took a pill and increased their mass beyond the amount of energy it contained. They created mass from nothing. That is not possible. Slows your metabolism is accurate. Causes weight gain would not be. It is accurate to say this pill slows my…

Its not me trying to be right. I was trying to explain why we are saying that medications and medical issues can change energy expenditures but can not cause the actual weight gain. That comes from eating to much. The medication can change your appetite or make you want to move less or retain water but it cant make you…
-
What you are saying is impossible to the known laws of physics on this planet. You can not eat less calories than you burn and gain weight other than water retention. Weight is the gravitational force on your mass. If you want to change your weight you have to change your mass. In physics there is something called the Mass…

If you want to fix the problem then that is a very important distinction. If I take a drug and then gain weight I could say that the drug caused weight gain. I have to take that drug so there is nothing I can do about the weight gain. That is wrong. If someone tells me the drug can not cause weight gain but it does alter…

Enriched white rice. Sometimes we cook it in chicken broth instead of water. I do like brown rice occasionally but my family doesnt so I dont get it often.

I did not mean you were making those claims. I said no one cares how you log water intake but can have a discussion if you make those claims. The OP is peeing to much or at least more than they are used to. This may be because of misinformation on how to count water intake leading to drinking more than they actually need.…
