This. You all have been very helpful thank you. Sometimes I just search for entries that others have posted without checking them myself. I should just add most of my own. I can see the opinion is I need to be more accurate in my logging and have more of a deficit.

You're right. I recently bought a food scale to do that and will be using it more. One issue with counting is my job has me eating out at tasting events a few days a week, and that's always difficult to calculate. Thanks for the advice.

I've been on here for two years. in the same position, people always end up not logging anymore. Feel free to add me!

I am never thirsty. Ever. Which is not a good thing where I have lived, Texas, Montego Bay, and Thailand. I feel the same way when I try to drink a lot of water. My throat kind of swells and I can't drink much at a time. I find that drinking room temperature water sipping every few minutes is the easiest way to get water…

I used to be in your position, in and right after college I lived with my roomates and my meals were cereal and granola bars...now I find things that I can make at home or at work that are cheap and easy. Almond butter and crackers for a good snack, or yogurt and granola. You'll find ways.

That is a huge success!! Don't be hard on yourself if you aren't where you want to be yet because you will be. You'll get there and you look great!

I got my husband hooked on tuna, light mayo, garlic powder, chopped pecans with or without spinach in a tortilla with hot sauce. He makes it every day (mainly because that's all he can make lol)

Feel free to add. I'm on every day!

My husband and I have a budget of $40 a week for groceries. We get a large bag of frozen chicken breasts, some pasta, canned tomato paste and diced tomatoes for sauce, my lunch at work is $2 healthy choice lunch express and a small bag of another snack, we don't drink soda, lots of tuna, milk, cereal, oatmeal, and that's…

I originally found it on online, but beware of that recipe as it is high in fat when you add the extras. Keep it simple and its divine :)

I'm 5'8 and currently at 140, but a year ago I was at 120 so that's what I'm looking to get back to (or at least the pants that fit that!). I met a guy and got married and eating healthy went out the window until the past few months!

YES I got 2 e-mails from her already. Ugh

Where's all the downtown Dallas peeps!! Represent =)

I've been married a month now, and it's so much easier to focus on fitness now that the planning is done with. Wish you all the best!

Most Men in general. I mean I'm a girl that does the weights that I guess only the men in my area do. I've seen another female maybe once with real weights...maybe it's a Dallas thing. Still, the second I sit on the bench to lift my weights every man at the mirrors stops and stares....I'm really not that attractive when…

Your not the only one. I'm so afraid of the scale that I will only use 1 particular scale to determine my weight as I feel like when I use others my weight shifts upwards. So when I don't go to that gym that week I don't weigh in. My scale at home is broken that I was using so I thought I was almost 10lbs less than what I…

I used to live in Montego Bay. If you are staying at a resort you can run around the resort with no problems. If you are staying at a hotel on the strip I wouldn't run there. The sidewalks are much too narrow for that and you will get hit on every 3 minutes.

My mom had mace walking around the block and when a pitbull came after her and her little dog the pepper spray didn't work. So I'd either test it out before or get a stun gun.

Are you doing the vegetarian way or the regular way? I saw how that if you do the vegetarian diet it helps you lose more, but I'm sure if you went back to eating meat the weight would come back. Congrats on doing so well though!!

I started bringing lean cusine meals that are healthy express, They are near the ravaoli, and are $2 at walmart. You cook the pasta/rice and then pour the sauce with chicen over it. None of them are high in sodium and they are all less than 6 grams of fat and less than 400 calories. I don't have to put them in a fridge so…

I'm not sure how others do it, but I search for a cup of generic salad with no dressing and then add my counts for the dressing afterwards. I did the same with my tortilla soup I got from the place next door. Sometimes you can't always know exactly what it is.
