  • I also forgot to mention that this week the workouts seemed to be getting harder rather than easier. I actually considered quitting in the middle of the workout the other morning and then finishing when I got home at night. So frustrating!
  • So I did my TDEE and it also says around 1800 calories. Is exercise already included in that? Should I net 1800?
  • MFP has be at 1300 NET calories for a 1lb weight loss a week. Many people have told me you need to up your calories while doing insanity. I have been doing the 1300 and I am stuck with no weight loss (although I also hear that is normal for your first month of Insanity)
  • Ok so with that formula you are saying that if I burn 600 calories a day according to my hear rate monitor, I should be eating 2000? I get so confused as to whether I eat this back or not. Thanks for your help!

  • I thought about the muscle thing as well but I was told Turbo Fire is not a muscle building workout. I was within my calories all week, maybe even under. It is my TOM but even at that..... 6 pounds is a lot!!!

  • Also I want to do the 5 day inferno plan but I am hesitant to drop my calories to 1200 a day in case I am not eating enough already. I am afraid this will have a negative effect on me.
  • I don't plan on following the meal plan either. My only concern is that since I started TF I have been gaining weight and I think it is because I was not eating enough. So I am scared that lowering my calories on the inferno plan will have a negative effect on me.

  • So Jen- Is your net calories 1500 or your consumed 1500? Even with all my foods packed and my exercise logged, I am still only netting 1300 calories..... do you think that is still too low??
  • Thanks for the input but I feel as if that is defeating the whole point of exercise. I guess if you look at it from the point of view that you don't even need to exercise to lose weight, then it does make sense. Should you eat back ALL the calories you burned or just enough to make sure you are getting 1200 calories a day.
