  • I'm in the make the same for everyone camp...If I'm eating healthy so is everyone in my family. I will provide extra or healthy snacks to those that aren't getting enough cals/still hungry.
  • Sometimes I just can't ignore it and have to eat a big meal and I'm back to normal again. There's also times it goes away after a little while. The last time I really really struggled with hunger I discovered I was pregnant so sometimes it is your body saying you need a little more.
  • I did it last year, lost a couple of stone until it was getting really hard to stick to, I was sooo hungry...then discovered I was pregnant! I just made Tues and Thurs my set 'fast' days, with 500cals. I'd eat things like warbatons thins with ham and salad, vegetable curry & rice, fruit, vegetable soup. I got into it but…
  • I am a c-section mummy. Had my baby 4 1/2 months ago...have been gentle with the excersize so far but going to maybe join some classes to ramp it up a bit now. TBH I didn't have a flat stomach before but the still pregnant look is wearing thin! I was just glad my skin didn't look too loose.
  • Love fillet steak. Just bought some venison steak.
  • If you Google hemsley and hemsley they have a pea mint chocolate ice cream recipe that looks healthier than regular.
  • I seemed to lose weight breastfeeding but my apitie was huge! I ate for nutrients but didn't really have time to overeat or have treats as my baby was constantly hungry. I think the lack of alcohol helped too. It could be muscle building if you've just started excersizing?
  • I'm in. I'm aiming for 2/3lbs a week off ( a lot to lose). I won't be anywhere near target by November but it's a nice goal to have dropped a dress size or 2 by then.
  • They used to do fresh fruit in it but I don't think they do that anymore. They are fun and tasty just very pricey.
  • If you have 2 bowls of pasta, why not try 1 pasta bowl & one salad bowl. Might still give you that 'full' feeling with less calories and more nutritious. Pizza the same, try eating with salad, however I do agree it's hard not to eat a full one!
  • Aparently if you put it in milton (or diluted steralising fluid) fresh veg lasts a lot longer.
  • Don't worry just stay on track with your diet and you'll see the results soon enough. Your body needs to retain more fluid at your totm.
  • 1200 is the basic cals you need to let your body repair itself and get enough nutriants.
  • I would go for chicken tandoori with chapati or boiled rice. Starter just pompodom with spiced onions.
  • Well maybe one month but this is wedding season! Ive given up my mid-week wine/alcohol in honour of the diet though. It must help with a bottle of wine hitting 500cals.
  • I quit diet coke 10 days the first day I drank 1 to curb the headaches. I felt sooo tired and my head was thumping the first few days - if thats not a sign its no good for you I don't know what is! When I drank diet coke I used to get hungry quite often and would get bad hunger pangs. Since quitting and drinking diet coke…
  • There is a book on amazon called 'the takeaway secret'. Give you reciepes, ive tried the big mac at home, tastes almost exact. Just if your looking for a home option. If not, just count it in. Not great all the time as low nutrient values.
  • If I were having porriage I would have it with honey. Natural & sweet.
  • What about a large salad? I enjoy salad and very filling for the calories. If your still hungry drink some water and maybe go for a walk? It'll get you some extra calories to eat back and maybe take your mind off binging? Try fill meals out with veg it'll make you feel fuller.
  • *jealous* lol. Yeah most people lose quite a bit the first week, it should steady out. It'll go back on as quickly as it came off if you dont keep it up though. Well done!
  • I never understand this either. If a family member was immobile through obesity i wouldnt provide them with any more food than they needed. its sad when some obviously aid the weight gain. I watched a programme about morbidly obese people, one guy was in hospital and put on a special diet, someone (cant remember who now)…
  • I have tesco value plain yogurt everyday with honey or gronola sometimes honey and fruit. Yummy and just enough for so early in the morning! I have a glass of fruit juice too.
  • Your metabolism needs energy to burn calories. Cereal and pasta in a day doesnt sound like 1200 cals? Try eating a healthy lunch and maybe oatcakes and a banana or something as snacks throughout the day and your body should burn more throughout the day.
  • It may be your not eating enough calories?
  • Its not always what you eat but how much - portions and how often. Having a salad but adding dressings or full fat coleslaws can increase the calories to more than a big mac meal! Drinks can also add 'hiden' calories also. Either that or your not eating enough, you'll be able to use mfp to find the right balance.
