I logged in 2000 calories. I think I ate less than that though... Who knows.

Your methods are full of "bro science" brah! Google TDEE and find a calculated calories needed for maintenance and go from there. If you are taking steroid, and working out. That would help retard muscle loss. You might even gain muscle at a deficit... To each his own.

Just make sure you have the variety of food that will give you your micronutrients needs and fiber.

It's not so much about eating right as much as it is about eating the right amounts. Are you measuring your servings?

Looking very lean @ 160 lbs. Congrats!

You'll notice progress by just tracking calories and being on a calorie deficit. But for some seriously efficient gains, those trying to minimize lean body mass loss, you need to research about macros. Since you are new, it's good to just get into the game by tracking calories and learn as you go.

Daily for me. I love data.

You might need to recalculate your TDEE, since you are dropping weight. I think IIFYM suggest recalculating every 3-5 lbs lost.

Protein supplement is a good way to achieve your protein needs, that's all it is. You could use it to bulk or cut (lose weight). Basically Calorie Surplus vs. Calorie Deficit Most can agree that to lose weight a retard the loss of Lean body mass, maintain a resistant based exercise and eat about 1g of protein per pound of…

DEXA is supposedly the gold standard. Bod Pod can be pretty reliable though.

Lot's more fiber.

Wow I could see the difference as well, GOOD JOB! The next 100 lbs will be a drastic change in body image, you definitely can do it!

It is because you are on a ... CALORIE SURPLUS ... It's simple to underestimate certain foods.

Chicken Thighs cause it's too hard to eat dry *kitten* chicken breast all day. Mmmmmmm fat. Cores: Chicken Thigh Oatmeal Almonds Broccoli Cauliflower Carrots Squash Whey Protein Sweet Potatoes Potatoes Multi-Vitamin WATER And then I fill the rest with whatever I want to fill my Macros.

Grendel is right. 1 - 1.5g of protein per pound of lean body mass aka your weight minus body fat weight.
-
You should try the Bod Pod. It analyzes your fat pretty accurately.

Ask your doctor about atorvastatin or similar alternatives in bringing your liver enzymes down. Stop the fatty invasion of your liver! You'll probably end up bringing it down with diet, exercise, and fat loss naturally.

It's not really about how much they give me that I'm worried about. It's about hitting my macros and how to portion out the bowl to meet my nutrition goals. I tried weighing out each ingredient individually, but that turned out a hot mess. I think they actually did give me 1.5 servings versus the one on their site…

If it fits my macros, I don't care if it's clean or dirty. As long as I make some sort of effort to get a couple beneficial foods in there like fruits, nuts, vegetables, and fish oil each day.

Lose fat everywhere else first.
