Thanks for the link to the meal plan PDF! I did the workouts in May (loved it, dropped 7 lbs and 9 inches), but not the food plan. I am doing 6 week 6 pack now and then will do the Extreme Shred and Shed next.

That's 3 mins more than yesterday! Just keep going and give yourself credit for what you are doing. It's hard work, if it wasn't, we wouldn't need this support network and one another. Good work. Keep at it.

I just did level 2 for the first time and I can see where the burn is high, OMfG....i'm dead on my feet.

So sorry for your loss. I wish your friend a peaceful journey, and may the memories of her bring you comfort and joy.

For the past 6 weeks, I've worked out every day except for 3 days. I have no clothes which are "tight". I can run for 25 minutes without stopping. I can pick up my 5 year old with ease. I am so much happier!!

I work out at home, using DVDs, online videos and some of the workouts on Comcast. I also walk 3-4 days a week and run 1-2 days a week (trying to switch those numbers, but just not there yet). In two months, I've lost 17 lbs, feel so much stronger and am much happier. However, I kind of miss going to the gym and hopping on…

I have not done this work out, but it's on my list! I am did Ripped in 30 in May and currently almost half way through 6 week 6 pack. Next on deck is Extreme Shed and Shred....but then I may be ready for Body Transformation... So I'm friending you guys to follow your progress and keep myself motivated! Best of luck and…

Yep, sweating and bright red during my runs. I don't mind it though, except the redness can take a long time (up to an hour) to fade. that's tough, especially if I work out in the morning and I sometimes get to the train and am still beet red. Oh well, it's a reminder of how hard I worked. I do, really, dislike that my…

Congratulations, thanks for sharing! When are you going to run the full marathon....:noway:

That is frustrating, and I know how you feel also, I have lost 17 and only my husband has noticed/commented. But when I look in a mirror, or put on my clothes or push myself during a workout I KNOW it. You are who matters. How you feel. How much energy you have. How much healthier you are for losing that much weight. Stick…

I had two today as well... First, I see new muscle definition in my forearms during my morning workout. Totally unnecessary, but I'll take it! Second, this morning I put on a summer dress from last year and it was too big! I cinched it in with a cute little belt, but I am determined to make it look like a sack by the end…

Have you thought about getting ring guards for your in-between period? Just a thought, I'd hate to see anyone lose their wedding rings.

Hi, I just finished Ripped in 30, May 30th and started 6 week 6 pack June 1st. I love her workouts, even the ab video works everything and I sweat, I feel my muscles and I see my body shrinking. I do not follow her nutrition plans, but have cut my calories and try to eat clean and lean. I have lost 17lbs since April (my…

Great work!! You look much happier in the 3rd pic! Keep at it!

I ran/jogged for 28 minutes in week 7 of my C25K program last night, and worked out again this morning and can walk in my heels at work today.

I'm cracking one open as we speak, with no concerns about the toxins....ah delicious and refreshing!

this is a timely discussion for me. I usually workout 1st thing in the morning, and get right into the shower. two days a week I join a running club after work, and when I get home from that, I always shower. Today, however...I didn't work out until about an hour ago, and am sitting here a bit stinky, but have my running…

Ripped in 30 is a great program, if you stick with it you will see results. Go get em!

I lost 6lbs in May, and 9 in April. I started April 1st, and had a goal of 30 lbs in 5 months. Two months in, and I'm half way there, but know the more fit I get, the harder it will be to keep losing at that pace. But I told myself I am making a lifestyle change and so that is the biggest focus.

It is for some people and there goals. I decided in April to get control of my weight. For the first two weeks, I reduced my calories and started eating healthily. Then two weeks later I started taking walks daily. I live in a very hilly area, so it's a bit more intense then some areas. Anyways, I started to feel stronger,…

Congrats, small daily changes will have the biggest long term impact. May I suggest that you start packing healthy food/treats for yourself to bring to work? Some days are going to be harder than others to beat temptation, especially going for 5 hours without food. If you get yourself in the habit of eating healthy, and…

Hmmm...I started JM 6 week 6 pack with a walking program and thinking to redo RI30 2 or 3 days a week, as time allows.

Hi Folks, I just wanted to give an update on my 1 month progress. During the month of May, while doing this challenge I lost 4lbs, which I have to admit, is a bit disappointing. BUT It was my birthday, mother's day, my best friend's birthday and my anniversary (so lots of eating out, cake and wine) and I still lost. Also,…

Thanks All. I think I am a little low on my calorie targets, but since my scale is creeping down and I am losing inches, I'll stick with it a bit longer. I let MFP figure my targets based on my goals, so as long as it's working, I recognize that I don't know enough (not yet at least) to try and customize. Appreciate all…

Can you explain why? Trying go figure out my magic number so appreciate all the help.

Hi Ladies, I did my WK4D7 today...so I should be done, but one more day tomorrow of week 4 and then I'm going to rotate days in June (I really lagged on week 3, so I want to get better on that). I took measurements before and will take measurements tomorrow, along with my weight. But I know my body has changed, I am…

Don't set yourself up for failure by expecting quick results, perfect workouts and easy nutrition. Don't give up the things you love (wine, chocolate or bread) completely. Just scale back and count for them in your daily calories. Don't let other people bully you into things you are not interested in, classes, food…

I did week 4, day 4 today. I am so psyched to get to this point, though still doing some modified moves. I can't wait to finish out the next few days and take all my measurements again. I know I am stronger and healthier, I've lost pounds and inches. I ordered the JM Six Week 6-pack which I am going to start in June, but…

Eating out is the hardest for me. Most places do not include their calories, and trying to guess what's in what and how many calories you are eating is just soo tough. Now I try to log in advance. When I plan to go out and eat, I try to pre log to estimate what I'm going to eat and what the calories are going to be. As I…

I went from drinking 3-4 cups a day, with cream and sugar, down to 2 at most. My first cup I have light and sweet, but I still measure the cream and sweetener. If I need a second cup, I drink it with one splenda and a little milk or cream. I just always log them and account for it in my food diary. I love my coffee and…
