What would be the best available online calculator that would determine how many calories I should eat at rest BMR, with everyday living and with some activity? Being 5' it keeps the numbers rather low but I'd like to know with some accuracy. It all seems rather scientific and that's great but having a source that will…

Thanks everyone.

There are a few I enjoy...espresso, cinnamon roll (not cinnamon raisin bun...no no no) and I'm going to try a few new ones (to me). How did you get a free sample of all of them? and do you know if they are sold retail?

Thank you, good to know. I guess I'm going to have to work a lot harder...lol

Happened to me too...Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and they were my best days this week...lol

I'm referring to the Daily Nutrition Goals, i.e,, % of daily intake of carbs, fat and protein as well as the Micro Nutrients, i.e, sodium, fiber and sugar. Once I edit the numbers I believe the they should not change (back to default) unless I change them and yet they do.

Thanks everyone. I found a bar that I think comes very close to all my criteria and has very clean ingredients... B-Up... www.yupbrandscom ...very similar to Quest (maybe a little cleaner).

Thank you kommodevaran. I agree that tuna is a great source of protein; I love it. I'm trying to simplify things actually...tuna on rye has virtually no fiber and the need for a bar when I need it is essential and therefore I would want one that meets my needs.

p.s., FitBit Charge HR if that makes a difference.

I'd like to reset the polyunsaturated and monounsatured fat goals in my profile. Is there a way to know what the range is and how to calculate it based on my stats or is there a general percentage I should be keeping within? (specifically for poly and mono)? TIA

I used to use FitDay but for so many reasons I stay with MFP. If only MFP used the nutritional info from FitDay, it would be perfect. p.s., are you listening MFP?

Thanks, I just found it...I wish a few more items were added i.e., Vit D and B12 to name a few.

I did not know this...thank you.

I'm under the impression that if you account for the exercise you do during your week in your settings then the additional calories burned are already accounted for and therefore should not be eaten back. On the other hand, if you use sedentary then anything you do over and above are bonus calories and can be eaten back…

I appreciate all the input. I'm eating acidic food as I type and glad to know I'm doing it right...thanks so much :)

Thanks everyone. Great information :)

I have the same issue, so after googling it, I learned you can freeze applesauce...so I did, in small rubbermaid tubs. I might even try ice cube trays next time.

Fantastic, I'll look for it up here...thanks :)

Since January, when I first started my current weight loss journey I did not...until about a month ago and now I seem to have too many. So for about 4 months I ate clean with no interuption...now, not so much, and I'm not even at my goal yet although unlike all my previous weight gains, so far I'm able to get back on track…

Thanks...I'll keep that in mind.

A very kind MFP 'friend' is helping me to figure out my true BMR and TDEE. My concern is because I work at home and exercise differently every week, I keep myself at 'sedentary' so that every 'work out' I log in, is the actual calorie expenditure for that day.
-
Oh, really? So it's better to avoid my morning coffee before my weigh in? hmmmm For many reasons I do not have a scale at home and get weighed outside the house no more than once a week.

I'm trying to build back some very unfortunate lean muscle loss and would like to know if the machines at Curves can do the trick? I have free weights at home that I use for biceps and triceps and have been doing Curves Ciruit Classes and hope that their hydraulic machines are worth it. Are they? p.s., does anyone know why…
-
I agree...thanks for the reply :)

Let me rephrase this: If someone is sedentary during the day (desk job at home) and their profile reflects this lifestyle and all additional exercise is logged manually, should exercise calories be eaten? as opposed to someone whose profile reflects their daily activity when calculating their TDEE?.
