Ginger tea will warm you up for short bursts of time. I am always cold unless I am moving so it is either tea or housework.

Totally- Even after a glass of wine WITH DINNER I am gnawing at my finger nails a few hours later resisting the urge to pop popcorn and slather it with butter and salt. Awful but wine tastes so good and makes me feel so warm and happy for a few hours.

When I really stick to the plan I find it hard to go above 1200 calories. And I have really stopped logging and counting up the calories. I just visualize the Furhman food pyramid and try to let that be my guide.

I do it every day, several times a day. The morning is always lowest so I do it naked or undies and tank after a pee. I might weigh myself later after a work out or just to see what happens after a salty meal etc. Only once have I been lighter at the end of a day than at the beginning.

5'8" My original goal was 147. I am feeling so good and hopeful that I am thinking I may change it to 135 eventually. I have been healthy at this weight/ height before (8 years ago.).

If I got derailed for months I would probably want to start fresh with new friends anyway. I wouldn't want to have to explain myself to an old set of fit pals who have stuck to it and lost tons while I was wasting time. But that is just me.
