  • I am at 211 this week... which means I am down 3 lbs this week.. really looking forward to breaking the 200 mark!!! congrats on all the weight-loss this week, I know this long weekend isn't going to help anyone (it's my brothers stag & doe)
  • Eating fat-free cottage cheese for breakfast in the morning is a really good idea, since it is much lower in calories than eggs, and it is a protein. Thanks for the great tip! I always considered it a dinner food for some reason :)
  • I can relate to your problem - I often cook for 1 also and I find that frozen veggies make things so much easier. I buy a variety of different kids, mostly broccoli and green beans though, and steam them. You can even steam a bunch and save some for your next meal or two. I decided to re-start my life on April 17th of this year, weighing in at 225. I decided I would take baby steps - eat less carbs, become aware of what I am eating, etc. I haven't…
  • I completely agree that buying smaller bowls and plates makes a difference. Instead of filling a big plate up, fill a smaller plate up and you'll feel just as satisfied. Your brain will think, "wow i just ate a whole plate of food!!" meanwhile it's 1/3 less than you'd normally have. I can relate to you in that i don't have…
