  • I used to eat my excercise calories and didn't get results... So now I eat around 2000kcal a day on average, less during workout days (3 days a week- around 1400kcal I think) and I'm liking what I see on the scales and in the mirror! :drinker:
  • When someone stares at you run on the treadmills... WE CAN SEE YOU STARING VIA THE MIRRORS /facepalm AND When people act super tough on the bench press xD Nothing else bothers me! Our gym plays music extremely loud, so those who use thier phones have to go outside! :tongue:

When I run/cycle- I like to listen to fast paced music, or music recognised as workout music (i.e eye of the tiger :laugh: ) When doing weight training- I just workout infront of a mirror and that's it When feeling lazy/ stationary cycling/ running on treadmill- I prefer watching…
  • Agreed, but the majority of workouts should remain cardio in my opinion due to the fact that if too little time is spent on cardio then not only will the rate at which one loses wieght decrease, but one might even start to look bigger. Muscle under fat just gives a bigger appearance. :bigsmile:
  • If you do both cardio and strength training in your workout sessions, you'd significantly increase the amount of calories you burn.. Building muscle also increases the amount of kcal you burn... So I suggest you start weight training too! Just make sure the majority of your workout sessions still consist of cardio! :wink:
  • To be honest I'd suggest start small and work your way up: JUST lifting heavier weights won't make you grow big muscles like a bodybuilder so it's safe to go heavier!! Ya'll wanna work out biceps, triceps, chest, shoulders and lats with dumbells.. However I don't think I can give adequate advice for the majority of those…
  • Consider Phd Diet whey, that managed to keep me full for atleast 6 hours... :)
  • I'd go for the following: Phd Diet whey Phd normal whey (I recommend the Phd ones) Musclepharm Combat GNC Whey BSN Syntha-6 Shakeology They may look a little "hardcore" but have a scoop of these blended with water (Or milk- I wouldn't suggest eating anything with it if you blend with milk) and your good to go!
  • Kinect is the best option for workout games... HOWEVER personally my favourite workout game of all time has to be eyetoy kinect on Playstation 2! It's pretty much the same thing, but cheaper AND it felt sooo cool!
