  • When did you present an opposing view? Seems to me like you were just trying to attack and make fun of someone you didn't agree with. You never put forth any information of your own. TROLL.
  • They are both good phones. My suggestion would be to go to a store and play around with both phones. I personally have a Droid, but everyone's preferences are different.
  • Hey everyone!! Sorry I've been MIA. Things are crazy busy around here. I started a new position at work and I'm too busy to get online now. That used to be where I did most of my stuff. At home, I have to fight DH for the POS computer. Since I got a nice fat raise to go with the new job, I think a new laptop or netbook is…
  • Hey everyone!! It's been a crazy week!! I got a new job in a different department at work. This week I've been working 1/2 days in each department. Except it hasn't been that easy. I've been here an hour and then there an hour and then back again. At least I've gotten plenty of walking in since the departments are in…
  • Kelly, I am so sorry that I am just now getting to read this. I have a family full of weight problems myself. They all bring along their obese-induced diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Honestly, I it scares the cr@p out of me!! I use it for motivation. I don't want to have almost have a heart attack…
  • Feeling more myself now that I'm not "dieting". I'm pretty sure today is going to be a pretty weather here. I just got my new bike last week and we haven't had a chance to take it out yet. I hope I can get DH to go later. I bet I won't have to twist his arm too hard!! He loves riding as much as I do. I need to burn the…
  • Here's a link for the article on their website. I had to go find it since GMA Weekend isn't shown in my area. I thought I'd share. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Weekend/calorie-counting-smartphone-applications-stoke-eating-disorders/story?id=9691227
  • I weighed in at 209.4, which is up .6 from yesterday but I was expecting that. It is still down from this time last week or even Sunday. The sassy water stuff that the diet has you drink is basically to help you lose excess water. I'm sure that since I didn't drink any yesterday, I retained a little extra water. Honestly,…
  • I rarely "complete" my day because of this. I don't think it's right that people are being praised for being under. And if you go over your caloires the message is different so *gasp* everyone knows you went over your calories!!! I think the feed is a great tool to get feedback and motivation, but I think they still need…
  • I hope you are looking at more than just someone's fat totals before you judge them. There are reasons for going over on fat. For example, I started following the Flat Belly Diet Sunday and it pushes monounsaturated fats. You'll see that I go over my fat everyday because of it even though what I'm eating is healthy. I…
  • I just recently tried Mom's Best shredded wheat and I thought they were excellent for the price and for an organic cereal.
  • Congratulations!! I'm only 7 lbs behind you. I can't wait!!!
  • I don't feel sick, just not engertic and my BP is doing fine. The 1,200 calories is only during the Jump Start. Tomorrow when I move to the regular diet, I'll be getting between 1,700-2,000 calories a day. The book gives a blanket 1,600 calories to women, but I signed up for a free trial of their webiste and it gives you a…
  • I'd like to know, too. I've been reusing water bottle for years. They get clean/replaced periodically but they don't get washed. Heck, the thermos I use at worked probably hasn't been washed more than once or twice in the last year. But I ONLY use it for water.
  • I'm so very, very tired this morning. I keep hoping to snap out of it, but I can't. I really think that it has to do with the low calories the past few days. I guess 1,200 calories is just to low for me. Not surprising since MFP has me eating at least 1680! I'm feeling a little more discouraged about the diet right now. I…
  • I'm hoping that the jump start will help me get past some of my salt cravings. I'm a salt addict and I've managed to cut back some on my own. But since the Dr reduced my BP meds, I think it is even more important to monitor my salt. I imagine that after 4 days of very little sodium will help a lot to get me out of some bad…
  • Friday and Saturday were awful!!! We were out to eat for dinner Friday and lunch and dinner Saturday. I was so puffy by bed time!! I felt awful!! Then I started my new diet yesterday. I weighed in yesterday morning at 215.4 (just to prove how bloated I twas, that was up almost 2 lbs). Today's daily weigh in, 212.8 which is…
  • As long as I feel motivated, I'm pretty good with my diet and exercise. I've been in a bit of a slump this winter. So, I'm trying a "diet" to get some motivation back. I think that having something structured right now will help me snap out of my funk. I'm following the flat belly diet. I'll normally be striving for 1600…
  • I just got one of her DVDs a few weeks ago. I really liked her!! My day is going pretty good. We went and had some really good BBQ for lunch. Yum!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!
  • Mande, I got mine. I'm headed home for now. We have a house guest this weekend, so I may not be real active. I'll try to stop by if I can. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!
  • I'm kinda in between exercises right now. I can't seem to find anything to keep my interested. I really love to bike, but it has been too cold. Now that it is warming back up, DH's schedule changed and I don't think we'll be able to ride during the week like we did last year. I'm starting the Flat Belly Diet Sunday and I…
  • Funny!!! There are more response from women than men on this thread!!!
  • I agree!!! He's kinda big and scary like an oaf, too. I won't talk to him.
  • I don't think so. It is a pretty balance diet, so I'm pretty sure it is a little bit of everything. I left the book at home this morning and I've been kicking myself for it all day. I'll have to let you know for sure later.
  • Sure, I'm in. I love Harry Potter!!! I hope to lose 32 lbs more by the time the movie comes out. That's 1 lb per week. I have 40 left to my goal weight and I'm giving my self until the end of the year to get it gone. My best friend and I (and probably DH and various other friends) are going to go to the theme park in a few…
  • Yes, and I wonder how long if I'll ever get past being uncomfortable even when I get to my goal just because I'm so used to feeling bad about my body. But, we all have to try or nothing will ever happen. Go out. Think sexy and confident and that's exactly what everyone else will see, too!!
  • Kelly, I'd love to have another Pepper do this with me. The 1st 4 days will probably be pretty hard!! I'm really not looking forward to trying the sassy water. I like my water plain usually. Adding all that stuff to it just doesn't appeal to me. Jacque, your friend's plan is great. Small steps are the best way to go. I…
  • I agree. I grew tomatoes and cucumbers last year. I'm trying to figure out how to do it again this year. My stupid neighbour bought one of those stupid air powered soft pelt guns. So far, he's busted up all my outdoor Christmas decorations and shot out our front porch light. Plus, I'm pretty sure he and his daughter were…
  • That I can understand!! I was on a waiting list at the library for almost a month before it was my turn. I'm just too much of a cheap-o to buy a book like this unless I've looked at it. I haven't seen it in stores around here, either. I really wasn't expecting that I would want to try it. I thought I might get a few tips…
