  • Being ill causes your metabolic demand to increase and therefore your caloric requirements also increase so you may be doing yourself more harm by not drinking your OJ. Your body needs it right now. I don't think it's an option:drinker:
  • Thanks guys. I looked again and sure enough I had chosen 1 cup. I love eggs and it would have been grief for me to give them up. I like the idea of scrambling whole eggs with egg whites - that way I can eat more with less calories:laugh:
  • I added my breakfast today and according to the stored food items 1 hardboiled egg is 155 cals. Is this true or am I doing something wrong? If it's true I guess I will have to stop eating eggs and opt for something lower in cals
  • Sounds very healthy. Are you able to go on this until dinner or do you have a snack in between
  • Pardon the ignorance, but what is face book and how does one join?
  • Would love to say what I had for lunch but siince I was a bad girl I'd rather not say. It was pure guilt after eating it.
  • Tell me what you're doing to lose in your chest, arms and legs. That would help me a lot. I do various abs workout. I use bodybuilding.com and enter the supersite to search for workout plans or working on a sepcific body part. You'll get exercises specific to those body parts like the abs. Some are very difficult but you…
  • We eat a high fish diet and Mahi Mahi is really Dolphin. Soak it in lime juice and salt so it absorbed the lime. You can then fry it with lightly dusted seasoned flour. You can bake it layered with slit almonds. I personally prefer stuffing Jamaican jerk seasoning in between the cuts then grilling it on the george foreman…
  • you guys are so motivated and encourages others on. Losing weight has been a struggle for me and now I'm 53 it seems like it's here to stay. I just want to lose 50 lbs and believe me I am exercising but instead it seems like I am putting on more weight, Ijust bought a HRM to help me stay in my zone in terms of intensity.…
  • Nice job. How long did you wait before you clock in? Do you weigh daily or weekly then clock it in
  • welcome and prepare for a fun ride, Lots of encouragement here for you:flowerforyou:
  • Congratulations and thanks for sharing your story. I am especially discouraged since I started at 190 and work my buns off at the gym, not even able to eat back all the cals I burned and sometimes barely eating the 1500 I'm supposed to, yet I gained .5lbs. This is not much, but to somone who wants to see the scale tipped a…
  • Thanks y'all
  • I logged my cardiovascular exercise and the 900 cal I burned. I also logged my strength training, but it did not give me any cals for the exercises, nor did it even acknowledge I did any. What am I doing wrong?
  • If you don't mind I'd like to have a copy too:smooched:
  • I am also 5ft 4 in also weighing 190lbs and I am on a 1500 cal because I burn at least 750 just in cardio per day and I have trouble eating back all that cal. After this is sorted out, you should try to up your exercise to burn more cal so you can probably eat a little more cal.
  • I totally agree with you. The first thing to check is blood work to rule out anemia since you have been spotting. That would also require you taking a multivitamin with B supplements and depending on what the doctor says, you may need to take one with iron in it. If you're getting up early you need to go to bed early too.…
  • Thanks guys for your input. I know jenny craig is really expensive and I don't plan on being on it for long, but I am in the military and really don't have the time to put together my meals and my husband does it, but poor thing just does his best and I am grateful. I also agree that it's not all about what we eat, but how…
  • Has anyone here use jenny craig or any other diet plans while using this site? I find I do better with meals that are pre prepared. I find that I can follow that more easily than cooking my own meals. Can I incorporate Jenny Craig with this site?

  • I have been away for a while but now I am trying to come back. I have been so frustrated not losing any weight even though I have been working out and trying to eat the right thing. The real crux of the matter is logging EVERYTHING one put in one's mouth. Keeping track is definitely the way to go and this site is fantastic.
