  • ON 100% whey gold standard. I like the chocolate malt. It's great with cold (refridgerated) water!!
  • I started cardi/weight lifting and quit at the same time. I smoked a pack a day since I was twelve (27yrs), I'm 39 now. I never worked out in my life, short of an attemt once or twice for a week. I tried everything to quit. Too weak! I use an electric cig now. I have an Inferno w/tube tank. I still get the nic. without…
  • I just thought of all those times I cooked hamburger in a pan and left it out. You know, the grease goes from warm to cold and gets firm. Then, if you get it hot again it melts. I just found a link if anyone wants to read it... http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/of-whooshes-and-squishy-fat.html EDIT: I just re-read…
  • In my dream it was more like...tanning oil here and there. Then, some slippin around and mean looks. When it happens for real...cause it wil! It'll be more like...her hitting me and me crying a whole bunch! lol
  • OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH GGGGGRR888888888888888888888!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS A LOT! hahahah!
  • My 1st goal is to feel comfortable going swimming and taking my shirt off without a care in the world. My second goal is to have every women in the world scream, hollar and passout because I look so good. Then, my wife gets real jealous and wants to beat people up! Mostly, I want to feel good about myself though.
  • This^ In other words...when you do cardio you burn energy. When you stop cardio you stop burning energy. when you lift weights you burn energy for days.(but you have to rest and let your body repair itself.)
  • Mine has felt more jiggly also! I thought it was just me!? It has to be a good thing cause mine is getting smaller and the fat part seems to be lower around my waist.
  • Maybe I DO need that test!
  • Kick butt!

  • That's great your arms are sore! You must have put it to them! I drink a whey protein shake after I workout. It helps me recover faster. Just a note...If you workout (lift weights) make sure you rest those muscles for atleast 24-48hrs. If you don't you risk injury and working that muscle before it has a chance to fix…

  • Well then, I guess I don't need this tester anymore!
  • Without a doubt on both your points. Comparing it with traditional eating habits (three meal a day) over, well, since life began, the average meal also has about the same (30g or so) protien. But, yeah, marketing is a MF isn't it. Also, if I ate what they (all food label!) considered one portion I'd die of starvation!!!!…
  • No! What are you trying to say? HEEEMM!?
  • I like "ON" optimum nutrition 100% whey gold standard. It's 89% protien by weight. Online or on sale at GNC it's $50 for 5lb jug. There are several good brands. The walmart whey( I think is body fortress) is good. I've used it and still would. It's like, $15-20 bucks for a 2lb jug. The flavor is what you like. However I…
  • This was a nice read. I'm not sure he really "concluded" anything other than it's personal prefrence and you will be deficient if you only consume 20-30g per DAY. Most of the studies conclude that th "one lump" method takes all day to process. And, the "spread out" method, well, takes all day to proccess. What was left out…
  • Hey, When you workout you're not doing anything but tearing your body up. Aside from burning energy and moving stuff around, that's what you accomplish. Of course cardio is a little different you mainly burn energy. What protien you have and proccess in your body has little bearing untill afterwards when your body is…
  • Fat=O at 200lbs Muscle=I at 200lbs No your body type normally won't change how it carries fat. However, I was on prednisone for a month awhile ago and gained 35-40 lbs and it was head to toe! I "normally" just get fat in stomach and chest.
  • Mens multi(crappy store bought ones), and whey protien. I only take the multi because my wife makes me.:(
  • "protein from a whole food source digests pretty slowly, I’ll still be getting the benefit from that steak many hours from now. An educated guess for the rate for absorption here would be 4-5g per hour for the steak. However, couple it with the fibrous veggies and cheese I had with it and we’re probably talking around just…
  • Yeah, my wife and I had a moment yesterday too. We had Panda Express for dinner. I don't feel so hot right now. Kinda feel like half of it is still in my stomach. You can guess where the other half is. It was a reminder though! I don't like fast food and there is a huge difference in my energy/mental strength afterwards.
  • Great progress picture. That could be me in your before.
  • I use "on 100% whey". It's 89% protien by weight and it's healthier than a cup of milk! Why? Because it IS MILK!!!!!!! Do some research before you tell people false information. Whey is one of the protiens found in milk. Casien is the other. Whey has had the majority of fat, lactose and other "not so healthy" stuff…
  • I looked at your diary real quick. I didn't anal-lize what you eat but, I looked at how you eat. When you do cardio you burn calories. When you're done w/cardio you stop burning calories. When you lift weights you burn calories and tear muscle fiber. When you're done lifting weights your body needs to be re-fueled.…
  • Research some fullbody workouts. That's what I do. You can also do a upper/lower split. I do fullbody every other day. It takes me about 45-60 minutes. You can do less but, I don't recomend more. You need to rest your muscles. You can do cardio as often as you want. Make sure you work your legs(squats atleast) they're the…
  • I wake up, have a whey shake with water, a cup of coffee, take the dog out, eat a banana and, lift weights for 45-60 minutes vigorously, or brisk walk 3-5 miles. When I'm done I have a whey w/water and have my first lunch 1-60 minutes later.
  • Two hours and nobody!? You have to do it for yourself. Try to smile and think why you started to make changes in the first place. Check over your diet, and routine. Make sure you aren't making things more difficult by eating bad and not resting properly. Make sure you drink almost too much water. The first time you notice…
  • Our family is there but, we are in Santa Cruz. We're going to the Sequoia mountains for a week Thurs. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  • misery likes company. It wasn't that long ago that I was on the other side of the table (eating bad). Just remember it's not your job to change the way they do things. Just try to keep yourself on the right track.
