Just turned 40 in August! You can add me! I feel like since I turned 40 the fat is glued to me....grrrrrr! I will succeed lol!

Thanks! I think they sell this at earth fare and whole foods, I was just thinking shakeology seems so darn expensive, so I think I will start with Raw garden of life first!

Still workin' the level 1, jumping jacks are way easier now, but push ups are still hard but easier than before! GO TEAM!

How does the high protein diet help? Thanks for the input, this was alot easier a few years ago....sigh!

This is how I've always done it in the past. I work out, cut calorie intake (not excessively), try to stick with a routine with shaking it up occassionaly. Like I said though the scale hasn't moved much but I do feel better and my clothes fit better, I am trying not to be distracted by that.

GGGaaahhhhh! I'm not on a program now, I have been before and got the look I wanted. I have already said gross wasn't the right word...can't we all get along, lol!! SO, I have a trainer what do the experts of MFP think I should do I am open to any and all suggestions as I am 40lbs of icky chunky!

Sara, I just turned 40 and have around 40lbs to get off, its so hard...this age thing is BS! Any advice? My skin is pretty tight, I'm not flabby fat....just chunky!

Thanks for everyones replys....even if I did piss some of you off, it doesn't look like any of you are by any means "gross". You did answer my original question. It appears I can work out, lift weights and not worry that I'll look bad! SO...THANKS :):):)

Um I don't know how to explain it, too much muscle, they look older than they are and their heads look too small for their bodies. I'm sure these people are nice people and make money looking like that BUT steroid use etc is involved in all that....why am I explaining myself, who knows!

I'm kinda sorta new! I guess gross wasn't the right word.....I am chunky right now which is equally gross... I just wanna be healthy with a little definition and God willing.... six pack abs! I don't mean any offense to women who are bulked out, just not the look I'm going for. PS: My son is a body bearer for the marines…

Still working level one til the end of December! Its on to level 2 Jan 1st. I do have to say level one has gotten a little easier, but push ups are so dang hard for me....sigh...

I got another day in of level 1...yay me! I have trouble with the jumping jacks, but its getting better!

I love hummus and its a bummer over the fat content! I am trying to come up with my own hummus, we will see how it goes!

I use 3lb wts....I am 40 and WAY weak at this point!

I work alot too, I find that the best time for me is too work out right after I wake up. I go to the gym on my off d ays when I get one! Good luck!

I am planning on doing level one through December, finished day 6 today, I am planning on one level a month finishing level 3 at the end of Feb. I also go to the gym so I will break from the 30 day shred on those days. We will see how it goes :)

I use 3lb waits cuz I am a weakling. I use the 30 day shred with the gym right now. Has anyone had significant results with the 30 day shred?

I just started this again, I think its a great workout, plus its free on you tube :)! How long should one stay on a level? I also joined the gym and am going to see a personal trainer on Thursday, lord help me!

The things allowed in our food supply in this country is horrifying. Nothing we eat is safe unless its plant based organic. I would like to eat that way all the time but don't. It is very important to read your labels.

I'm a drinker and a junk food junkie. Problem is when you give up the alcohol you crave the sweets but that goes away after awhile. Add me if you like!

I have 2 tablespoons every day, it is very healthy for you! I use Braggs, the only way to benefit from ACV is to use the kind with the mother at the bottom.
