Yes. My husband and I have doneTae-Bo for years and we just bought some new dvd's that really kick butt.. We like them but we are thinking about P90X just to step it up some.

Hi Welcome. I was also diagnosed as pre diabetic. I am on 500 mg of metformin I take daily. I also take 20 mg of lipitor. Thought I was 5'1" but just found out from the doctor I'm only 5 foot tall! What a bummer. My weight is at 121lbs. Would like to weigh 110-115 and I know if I keep it up I can do it!

I made the same mistake. I took off time for the holidays and gained most of the weight I lost back. I am glad I am back on MFP.

I don't know if I am a great motivator but I slacked off during the holidays and just started back. I gained 5 of the 6 pounds I lost but now I am down 2 pounds (water weight I think). Don't beat yourself up if you have an off day. Just remember that tomorrow is a new day.

This site will be really helpful. I took time off for the holidays and gained 5 of the 6 pounds I had lost. I am now back to watching what I eat and exercising. Set small goals and you will really start to see results. Good luck!

I'm back. Still slacking off. I really need some help! Haven't exercised and I have been eating too much Holiday goodies. I have gained some of my weight back. My plan is to start on Sunday after Christmas. Need motivation!

Try to stay off the scale for awhile and go by how your clothes fit. I am at a plateau but it seems my clothes are getting smaller. You are doing great so don't get discouraged! :happy:

Do not give up!!!! Start slow and keep at it and you will see results. I am 47 years old and when I was younger I was the "skinny kid" and got made fun of. How does your clothes fit? That is the real test not the scale. I am 5'1 and weigh 122 (I am trying to get to 120). I wear a size 6-8. Don't let the scale tell you how you should be.
