Try walking! It's free, you get outside and get some fresh air, and if you power walk i'm sure you will burn more calories than a 7 minute workout app. Good luck!

If you're insulin resistant try eating foods on the low glycemic index. You won't have to cut carbs out completely but will be able to enjoy good whole grains and they will help you lose weight.

Maybe by a small stash of your own healthy foods that you can incorporate with some of their stuff? It's not like they will dip into your food and eat it all :)

If that can actually work for you that's great. I've tried to lose weight to find a mate sooo many times and I could never make it stick. I would just give up and think it wasn't worth it or that he should want to be with me anyway. This time I feel better about losing the weight and being healthy than I ever have before…

Walking is definitely the way to go! When I first started I could barely walk a block without my lower back hurting. You just have to make sure you have some rest days in there and after a week or two you'll start to build back muscle and you'll be able to walk farther and longer.
