I am a stay at home mom to a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old. I do my main work out after they go to bed (around 8). I do small work outs with the kids through out the day so they can exercise with me. They only last 5-10 minutes but it gets both me and them moving. :)

Thanks! Corinne - I stuck to an average caloric range of about 1200-1350 calories (sometimes I would only eat around 1100 (net) for the day and sometimes it went as high as 1700). I lost a size and a half. I was a tight size 6 before and now I am a tight size 2 (4 is too big).

Thanks so much! I am so happy with the results! And it's not just how I look but my endurance is so much better! I was only doing the 30ds. I have two small kids (1.5 and 3) and I am a sahm so I am on my feet a lot but no formal exersice other than the shred. :)

My kids are young (1.5 and 3) "you can't crack eggs without pants on" My son likes to help me cook, he also hates pants. so I say this a lot!

:-/ How is it up there on your soap box? For the record, I know lots of cancer and AIDS patients. One is one of the fittest people I know. You can you healthy and fit in any iteration - fat, skinny, tall, short, apple shaped, whatever. But good for you for wanting to be fit.

1- every day 2 - this is day 18. I am down 3 lbs. I don't know how many inches but my back looks better! 3 - I am switching every 10 days.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Honestly, the 30DS is the most intensive exercise that I am doing. I do light cardio in the form of walking and yard work through out the week. 5 months. We started satin right after high school. I was 18 when we got engaged. I had just turned 19 when we got married. :)

Well, the front of me is still a mess, haha. I don't spend much time looking at the back :p It was my husband that pointed out that my back looks way better since starting it! I am using 3lb. I plan to go through it again with 5 or 8 lb next time!

I gained 2 lbs when I first started too. I lost those plus a couple more. It was just my muscles holding on to water for repair. :)

I am on day 17 and have only lost 3 lbs (and I go up and down between one of those). I am looking different though and that's what I care about! I think it's fairly common to not lose much weight on the 30ds though.

While its true that exercise helps cramps it's not just about the cramps. Some women bleed a LOT on the first few days of their period that any extra movement is...messy. No one wants to look like a stuck pig in front of everyone...
