I know the scale is bs really but I gave it the heave ho for the past 6 months and put on 2 stone - so cross with myself and what is done is done but for now, I need to weigh in weekly to feel in control. Yes and no re; binge eating - I have done it for years and manage to keep it in check most of the time. I think these…

Sounds great and that is what I did before and was really successful and felt positive about doing it...Then got a bit obsessed with clean eating and even saw eating fruit as a failure which would lead to a binge - crazy but when you form new habits it becomes the norm...Need to get back into my old way of thinking...For a…

I am going to start with 1800 or 1900 calories a day (not decided yet) and follow the "clean way" but not feel like I have fallen off the wagon if I have a bit of Greek yogurt or fruit or brown rice/sweet potato...I am also going to re-introduce 85% cocoa choc as I enjoyed having a small piece as a treat when I was…

Funny you say that, I added some cottage cheese to our online shop earlier and couldn't believe all the added stuff in the low fat version - went with the full fat. Crazy isn't it as you automatically think low fat is better.

Awesome, going to get some for sure...I've been dieting since I was a kid but feel like I've seen the light the last few months and doing it for my health, not necessarily just to drop the lbs...want to be around a long time to see my children grow up ;) thanks for the suggestions all. X

Thank you x I think I am a bit put off as I have 2 young children and we always have our meals together and I don't think I want them seeing me have a shake whilst they have 'real food' though I totally understand why you guys have it...perhaps a compromise to add it to oats in the morning sometimes?

I might check out the health food shop this week...do you drink them as a meal or extra or depends on how many cals you have left? X

All such great ideas thank you. I would feel a bit foolish drinking the protein powders as my only exercise is zumba and walking - feel like I need to be weight lifting to justify drinking it!! ;)

I don't know if I could face ham at breakfast but should give it a try...I forget about hummus, good call as I do love it. Almonds a great one, I have these already...need to lower my fat intake a but though mainly good fats...

Also, would love some general chat on here about how to lower body fat. Mine was 39% post 2nd baby...I was 16 stone 4lbs...down to 14 stone 7lbs and body fat still 36%...ideas to fit around 2 young children would be great.

Yes please!! I am 15 weeks pregnant - I lost nearly 6.5 stone before getting pregnant so definitely hard to get my head around gaining again.

Hiya, I'm 28 and from Oxford - happy to be your friend but don't know how to add you as haven't got any pals on here so far. I've lost close to 6 and a half stone and want to lose the last 10lbs - 14lbs and have been struggling with that for the past 8 months!! I have a 20 month old little boy. Looking forward to…

Great thread, very inspirational. I am 5ft 11 too. Start: 269lbs Now: 289lbs Time taken 14 months. I think I am going to go for another half stone now though and that'll be it.
