Making myself accountable...

Hello there,
I have "opened" my diary and am making a promise to myself to log everything that passes my lips (I struggle with binge eating but hoping logging it will give me a shake up as usually I would just think blow it and stop logging for the day)...
Also, I am going to try my hardest to weigh only once a week as I know it doesn't do me any good to weigh more often than that.
Thanks in advance for the support and best wishes! :D

Hey, good luck! It's always a good idea to make yourself accountable. Take ownership of your actions no matter if they are good or bad. In the same way, it's important to set small attainable yet challenging goals every 20 or 30 days. And once it's out here in writing you kind of have to stick to it  The scale is BS, you'd be better off going by measurements and percentages. Do you know why you binge eat?

I know the scale is bs really but I gave it the heave ho for the past 6 months and put on 2 stone - so cross with myself and what is done is done but for now, I need to weigh in weekly to feel in control.
Yes and no re; binge eating - I have done it for years and manage to keep it in check most of the time. I think these current episodes stem from a stint of clean eating before Christmas and being so so strict with myself, I felt deprived (subconsciously) and there we go - my silly brain fights against it with excessive eating of everything that isn't clean. Feeling more in control already with being back on mfp.
