  • Congratulations on your 50+ mile ride! That is amazing! So I was previously at 23 miles. I have since done a 10 mile ride, a 4 mile ride, and today I accomplished my first 15 MILE RIDE!!! I am so ridiculously proud of myself. I felt like my legs were going to fall off halfway, hehe. That puts me at a whooping 42 miles for…
  • If you're that scared, just use the lowest number. It is still a step in the right direction.
  • Whoa now. I think violence against women is certainly NOT the answer, but I understand your sentiment. Girls can't just wear provocative clothing and then complain that they're getting checked out. I'd sure as hell be checking out shirtless guys at the gym, haha.
  • Bump. Looks so good!
  • I don't have a problem with girls that wear sports bras, but make sure you pair it with shorts that FIT. I don't want to see anyone's muffin top and I also hate when girls pair sports bras with the tiniest shorts. This is a gym, not a strip club.
  • Congrats! I am also dying to see pictures!!!
  • You look SLAMMING in that bikini!!! Congrats on your weight loss and making the decision to change your life. I just bought myself a bikini and I'm in loveeee so I know how you feel!
  • Wow, you look great! What kind of exercise do you do? I'm just curious because I ate at 1200 for a while and it personally didn't work for me so I'm wondering what your activities include. Congrats on your success though! You look FAB!!!
  • Wow, you look absolutely gorgeous! I love this post because I also freaking hate my scale. Congratulations on your weight loss and taking control of your body. You look beautiful. :)
  • I am at 1500 now and usually eat a little less or more than that. I also went on a processed carb detox, but ate cereal for the first time in about three weeks this morning. I've added a lot of eggs, nuts, and peanut butter to my diet and cut out breads, pasta, rice, etc.
  • You look freaking gorgeous!!!
  • From what I have garnered, you should probably only lift weights 3x per week at most because you want to rest every other day. I have been following the New Rules of Lifting for Women and I really like it, but sometimes you need access to gym equipment although you could just modify the workout. Many people also swear by…
  • You just described to a T exactly how I felt. I couldn't believe that I had to spend the rest of my life eating so little! Thanks for your encouragement, everyone. :)
  • Well, I don't think anyone should really be eating less than 1200 calories per day because it really does depress your metabolism and slow down weight loss. Plus it breeds really unhealthy habits. I am not trying to attack anyone's diet and this is all coming from someone who maintained less than 1200 for about two months…
  • I most certainly do. :) I have a HRM and I add my exercise calories back into MFP religiously (except for yoga, weight lifting, and other strength training exercises). Whether I eat all of them or not depends on the day, but I usually eat at least some portion of them.
  • I followed Stage 1 for a week, but hated the confusing elements so I've skipped ahead to stage 2, hehe. I'm liking it because it is a lot less confusing.
  • I've recently started biking to supplement my gym workouts. I've gone for three 5-mile rides and one 8-mile ride. I burned ~200 calories on the 5-mile rides and ~300 on the 8-mile ride. I'm about to go out for my second 8-mile ride as soon as I get my butt in gear. I've definitely been slimming down and losing body fat,…
  • I did 8 miles today -- my longest ride to date! I did only start on Monday though, haha. It was really good. I think I'm going to stick with this ride for another two times before I increase my mileage to 10. :) This puts me at 23 miles for June.
  • I'm another beginner so I'll balance out all of the big dogs with my little numbers. I rode this past week on MWF for 5 miles each time. Monday was okay, Wednesday was better, Friday was easy. I think tomorrow I am going to tackle my first 8 or 10 mile ride! :)
  • I love Walk It Out. Gets me so pumped every time. We also did Naughty Girl by Beyonce this past week, so hot!
  • That's a good point. I didn't even think about returning it. :)
  • Totally caved and ordered it. I couldn't get it off of my mind. My library card will just get an extra good workout this summer. ;)
  • Are you taking rest days between lifting? There is no need to work out so hard that you're in agony... You might be pushing yourself too hard. Be kind to your body and listen to it. If you're in dire pain, it is high time for a break!
  • I haven't tried the cinnamon raisin swirl, but I freaking love the white and dark chocolate flavors. I started with the white and have recently become obsessed with the dark... Dark chocolate peanut butter on an apple is freaking divine.
  • Wow, I would rather die than do 425 squats. I can't contribute to this in good conscience, but go you!
  • "Its my favorite post-workout snack." Truth. Vaporizers are really awesome. My experiences cooking with it have been so-so. I've smoked out of a friend's vape (it filled up these bags) and it was really nice. I have a feeling you won't regret it if you ever decide to get one.
  • My name isn't anywhere on my profile or this site. Plus I have way more privacy concerns about Facebook. This isn't going to come up when I'm googled.
  • I'll concede that healthier is a judgement value on my part, but less dangerous is true. Alcohol is toxic. No one overdoses on marijuana.
  • Not to mention way healthier and less dangerous than alcohol. ;)
  • Man, this just indicates that more of you guys need to branch out and smoke some pot. It's really all it is cracked up to be.
