Just want to say I took myself off the Nuvaring and within a month my blood pressure was 110/68 instead of slightly high with an occasional racing pulse. Made it way easier to exercise without worrying about a heart attack or something, and now I'm full all day, partially because I've gone to 5 small meals a day, but being…

I hated tomatoes. Eating a tomato would almost make me sick. (I was OK with tomato soup, ketchup and pasta sauce.) They're very good for you though, so I took four years to train myself to like tomatoes. I started with warm tomatoes hidden on sandwiches and worked my way up to cherry tomatoes. I still won't eat a plain…

Cucumber! And try it at different temperatures--it makes a HUGE difference.

Thanks all! Feeling under the weather today, but not beating myself up over missing a workout or being off on calories. Slow and steady.

When you work out more, you have to eat more. Looking over your diary is alarming. You have 3,000 calorie deficit days BEFORE the deficit that MyFitnessPal already figures in. Anyone who is telling you it's ok to drink soda and eat candy and little else that day, while working off more calories than you've had that same…

Pescetarian, so I'll go with the egg. I'm usually over on protein if nothing else, though. Thanks!

My boyfriend was an *kitten* man until we got together. ;) Still, he'd be OK if I had to have a reduction. I haven't decided if I'd be OK...

I'm not a Dr. but my instinct is to say maintain until you get your results back at least. Focus on eating as healthy as you possibly can and worry about losing weight later. Do you know your BMR and TDEE?

Added goat cheese to breakfast and kidney beans to pre-workout quinoa. Thanks.

Then change your goal!! If your goal is 1200 now and you're active all day everyday and you're plateauing, just imagine what you're going to have to do to lose the last ten lbs! Your body doesn't think it's ever going to be fed enough again to keep up with your activity, so it's gonna hold on for dear life to what it's got…

You look so much younger!

YES BOONDOCK SAINTS.

Yes! Awesome sub for sour cream.

Chobani's been better than any other Greek brand I've tried. I just decided today, though, that I don't care for most of the fruit flavors. Sometimes I eat it with wheat/flax cereal instead of milk. I'm a huge fan of the crunch, but if anyone's got recommendations besides cereal for that, please share!

Congrats! That's an adorable dress, too.

Eat vegetables in general. Last week I made an entire pan of sauteed vegetables that was under 200 calories. It was a challenge to eat it all.

Good work! The short hair is a great look for you.

Thanks. I don't mean to sound negative, but I know that when I was at my most active, I still wasn't thin. I cheered most days of the week (and held my own with the skinny girls) and danced three or four times a week and did marching band (bass drum one year) and was on the tennis team and had a paper route all at the same…

I use a two-year-old to do sort of leg presses with him in "airplane" position, but he just loooooves to wiggle too much sometimes. He's also good for "The Noble Duke of York"--I dunno if you've ever been to Gymboree, but that's good for your core. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVok_KHcDtw&feature=related When I march…

Open your diary. Are you a vegan because you want to lose weight and you think it's the healthiest way to do it? It's probably one of the hardest ways to do it right! If I weren't eating fish right now, I don't know how I'd possibly get all my calories in every day.

You must be tall. That 143 looks more like 103!

Looks have way less to do with it than if he's calling me a 'chick'...

People don't talk about this enough. Thanks. A lot of people use old photos of themselves at a lower weight for inspiration, but I don't really have any pictures of myself at an "ideal" weight. I don't like the idea of using a picture of someone else as my inspiration, either. I can't really visualize myself being around…

Also pay attention to how hungry you are on days you are vs. aren't exercising. Is it easier for you to eat your calories after you've done cardio? Or are you hungrier on rest days? I think it's good advice to not change anything too drastically. How long have you been exercising like this? Do you know if you have any…

I guess I don't really have an inspiration picture. This was two years ago, one of the best I've ever felt in my body, but only because I couldn't afford food in Paris. Really, I'm just practicing loading a picture cuz I've never done it before and want to play along. Gator, I can't decide if I like you better as blond or…

Ok 1. I've cut out the rice, figuring the sodium wasn't worth it. I'm going to have to check out quinoa. I can keep better track of bagels, cereal and bread. I know I just eat bread as a filler anyway, and if I can find a substitute for cereal with yogurt, that will help. 2. I can alternate cheese, yogurt and avocado.…

I only just started, but I used an exercise ball under my thighs to do push-ups. I can tell it's a little more work than doing them on my knees, but not as miserable as trying to do them on my toes. The higher the exercise ball on your thighs, the easier--the lower the exercise ball, the more weight you are holding up by…

You can make your diary public by going to "FOOD" and then "Settings". It might seem invasive, but I've found people are very constructive and celebrate your treats as much as clean foods.

My first one was today (I only started 3 weeks ago)--I drank the whole 8 cups of water. Simple, but it felt like something.
