My Progress: Fifteen pounds down, eight pounds left to go!

***I tried to follow the instructions on how to post pictures in MFP. If you cannot see them, I apologize!***
The name is Liz. My healthy lifestyle journey began late November 2011. After years of not using a scale, I weighed myself and almost toppled over when I saw the number. LOL! I was at my heaviest...161 lbs. I decided to change every bad eating habit that had gotten me to that point. I tried to eat healthier and to count my calories. I added a larger array of vegetables - I was a vegan - and started eating cheese to add more protein into my diet.
I became a water-drinking fiend. I think the water helped out a lot to curve my appetite. I also added more grains, nuts, and beans into my diet. I found MFP by accident, I am thankful to be here. I found great friends. I'm finally at a healthy BMI index. I incorporated resistant training (2x wk) and it's helped me a lot. I have a few more pounds to lose, but every day I am thankful that I am doing something positive for my body. I'm giving myself the gift of a healthier life!
This is me at 146 lbs. I rarely take pictures of myself, but I'm glad that I did.

This is me at 134lbs.
