Used to drink soy but I didnt really like the taste on its own.. I've recently switched to almond and I love the taste! And the brand of almond milk I use is lower cal than the soy I used to drink :)

Maybe it's the fact that you weigh yourself at different times? I try to weigh myself consistently (in the morning before i've had breakfast). Most of the time it is actually water weight and will drop off the next morning. I dont think you should cut out pasta, everything is okay in moderation I guess. Aslong as you're…

1c special k advantage w/ 1/2 cup soy milk (187 cals) or 1 slice of sourdough toast w/ 2 egg whites and a handful of spinach (about 200-230 cals) or 1/3 cup rolled oats w/ 1tbsp peanut butter & 1tbsp choc protein sometimes instead of the pb & protein i use fresh/frozen berries which lowers the cals

bmr = 1392 calorie goal = use to be 1000 or less. i was losing alot of weight then realised i was putting my body into starvation mode and only losing muscle. so last week i upped it to 1200 and sometimes im a bit over so around 1300-500 :) havent weighed myself since but hopefully i lose fat instead of muscle.
