have any of you tried these? I've moved away from eating protein bars/protein-infused foods, but these really impressed me. the Salted Caramel reminds me of a Twix bar <3 you can find them here

@JanetReyna This is why I plan ahead and bring my own food with me to work - it takes the guess work out of things. I also try to limit eating out or if I do eat out I try to make healthier choices.

@JanetReyna everything in moderation otherwise you will end up in a binge cycle. are you currently counting calories?

i'm eating 300g carbs a day on my workout days (heavy lifting; 3 20 minute HIIT cardio sessions a week; aim for 10,000 steps per day) and i have PCOS and hashimotos. i've been increasing my calories (and carbs) and lost some weight. you don't necessarily need to eat low carb on PCOS... everyone is different.

This is why I set my alarm an hour before I actually have to wake up, take it and go back to sleep for an hour. I eat breakfast when I get to work. ETA - I either pack my breakfast or pick up oatmeal from Starbucks on the way to the office (plus protein powder that I bring).

fruit itself does not make you gain weight. a caloric surplus makes you gain weight. do you use a food scale to measure your food? what was your sodium like for the day (water retention)? if female, is it near your TOM? etc.

breakfast: black coldbrew, oatmeal with nuts and blackberries, 1 scoop of protein powder in water lunch: jasmine rice, delicata squash and pot roast snacks at work: popcorn, almonds, apple the rest TBD at home :) but its a rest day for me so less carbs tonight

@xmarye i see an endocrinologist at least once a year and have been on synthroid since 2015 (levothyroxine -generic - before that). in terms of weightloss, i lift weights, do HIIT and count macros. right now, i'm eating over 200g of carbs even on my "rest" days.

currently - multivitamin; probiotics; ginger (for digestion); cranberry (UTIs); plus magnesium, zinc and activated b complex (for PCOS)
