  • I'll be 41 later this year. I am currently an unemployed college graduate (very new experience for me), married with a 6 year old boy. I've never been more than 20 lbs above my ideal but I've never had a lot of self confidence either. I will definitely say that it takes more work the older we get but it is so doable! Good…
  • Thank you Pucenavel, that is exactly what I wanted! I had no idea imdb had synopsis like that, and I even had the app on my cell phone. I hope the movie follows the book better than some cinematic versions.
  • These stories are great! Thanks for sharing! I used to work in a medical office (biling) and had a customer call about a bill she received, saying "I can't owe any money. I have insurance". I wanted to ask her if she had fed her unicorns yet. Such is American healthcare! I am a third party in this story (assuming truth)…
  • I believe in moderation and don't outlaw any particular food , but.......if it came down to a choice.......bacon, beer, and cheese (and yes I'm a girl). Seriously "one thing"? then.....bacon.
  • I like my lean, shapely legs and my 'I can do it myself' attitude. I'm not afraid of hard work and I (almost to a fault) refuse to ask for help. I used to like my breasts but now that I've gotten older, I've had to figure out Victoria's secret!
  • Thank you for your suggestion. I figured there was a way to make one but I'm not mechanically inclined and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. I'll give it a try.
  • Tennessee here. Go VOLS!
  • Honeycrisp! But I buy gala when honeycrisps are harder to find (out of season). I prefer a tarter apple but my husband prefers a sweeter apple and both are a good compromise.
  • <3 <3 My favorite as well! I also like, among many: Yeungling Newcastle Fat Tire Dos Equis or Corona with lime Miller Lite (if I'm having more than 2 or so) Edited to add: I also like Arrogant *kitten* that I see is quite popular but I don't buy it much because it's alcohol % keeps the grocery stores from selling it here…
  • kdiamond, my favorite beers are pale ales or nut browns. I love Sweetwater 420, brewed in Atlanta, but I don't know how widely available it is. But if I'm having more than one beer, for calorie reasons I stick with Miller Lite as well. It's so much better than the other domestic lite beers. I'll have to check out your…
  • It's not a microbrew, but have you tried Amstel Light? I don't know how 'light' it is but it's tasty.
  • As far as the older guys go, Ed Harris is definitely on my list!
  • Anything fried or with cheese on it, and beer!
  • I'm in my office at my desk but I really can't say I'm working  Seriously though, within the hour people will start drifting out the door but I and one other person will be here till 5pm.
  • Some fine choices posted and while I don't have time at the moment to post pictures, I will add: Hugh Jackman Eddie Cahill (CSI:NY and Friends) David Boreanaz Shamar Moore Keep 'em comin'!
  • I think the reason I struggle with the calorie counting is because of the cooking I do. I have a culinary degree and will often throw some things together and I cook nearly every night. I'm trying to train myself to jot down what I've used and the amounts as I go but sometimes with the measurement conversions and weighing,…
  • I do a 2 minute, 3.6 mph walk on the treadmill and then stretch my legs. When I get back on I feel like I've got new legs and I'm ready to go! I don't usually stretch or warm up for lifting though. Edited to add that I don't count those 2 minutes toward my cardio time.
  • I couldn't help but read your post in a Dr. Suess rythmic pattern  but I've tried cooking with kale and have decided there are better options for me. And forget eating it raw in a salad, Yuk! I'm not a big chocolate eater and get frustrated that so many low-cal treats and ready-to-eat protein snacks have chocolate…
  • Depends on my mood, but often and like yesterday: Let's Start a Riot - Three Days Grace Invincible - Adelitas Way You're Going Down - Sick Puppies Dragula - Rob Zombie I promise I'm not an angry person LOL
  • I love my Honda Pilot (130,000 miles and 9 years old). We plan to trade her in for a new Pilot next year. My husband and I have only owned Hondas for the last 17 years with no major repairs. They'll take a lot of miles with proper maintenance. My husband's Civic coupe (before children) had over 300,000 miles when an old…
  • I've not been a member for very long but since I love music it's no surprise this would be my first post. I've seen some great suggestions for my cardio playlist from these posts and I wanted to contribute. I do like 'sexy' pop: Pit Bull, Usher, Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, etc. but I'm definitely one of the 'angry…
