  • Hi! I'm a first time mom doing my best to exclusively pump for my son (suppliment with formula rarely). He is 5 weeks 6 days old. Would have loved to breastfeed directly but he had problems latching and now I'm back to work. I've lost at least 14lbs since his birth, can't remember for sure what my weight was at the end of…
  • Hi, just started Fitness Pal again after the birth of my son. I'm in the Middle.
  • When I get super angry these days, I run. I used to eat. Now I get myself up and move. I get to work off the frustration without adding calories and without giving up. I understand wanting more support. My hubby can lose weight with out much effort. It's irritating. It takes months of work before anyone notices a change in…
  • Babies! And overall quality of life
  • Walked 4.38 miles today, making a total distance of 12.63 miles. As expected I passed Three Farthing Stone first thing in the morning. Spent the day walking on the Great East Road. Still some ways to go before the next big landmark . At least there's plenty to look at.
  • Yes, could be water. My father in law has this problem when he eats too much sodium (actually has a pill he has to take/plus he's sodium restricted) If you notice that you are having this problem often, you might want to track your sodium intake.
  • I'd love a few fitbit friends, just got my flex for Christmas. //www.fitbit.com/user/2BL62Y
  • 3.25 miles today. I've traveled 8.25 miles total so far. I'm on the Great East Road, I will pass Three Farthing Stone early tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see what lies ahead!
  • Hi Thomas! Sorry I missed your post this last week. I am your northern neighbor up in Barony of the Flame, Middle Kingdom. I love that your group is doing health/fitness together. I might have to suggest this to the group here.
  • I've stopped and started here a couple times (my current weight is back where I started two years ago-grrr) I have had good success when I stick with it. The hubby and I are making a big effort to eat more at home, to save money and calories. I have discovered that even when I eat out, I'm making better choices. I'd start…
  • I don't pay too much attention to the whole "in 5 weeks you'll weigh this much" part. Log what you eat, try to stay within your calories, meet your exercise goals. Also, if you struggle with healthy eating, making an appointment with a nutritionist. (Not sure about where you are, but my health department offers a monthly…
  • 5 miles today, I have made it to The Green Dragon. Tomorrow is another day on my great adventure!
  • My hubby and I do about a 1/2 acre garden every year, we've had chickens for two years now, we also have wild blackberries and black walnut and apple trees and discovered really old pear trees last year. We had 45 pepper plants (various varieties) our first year, thank goodness they dry well!
  • You need to get up. I did exactly what you are doing, "not today, I don't feel like it" One day became two, became a month. I have regained every pound I lost. So get up and get going!
  • I experienced this when I pushed back lunch to fit in my run. I could barely drive and was feeling very sick by the time I got food. I haven't had this since. I just make sure to eat about 1 or 2 hours before hand, and I usually have a healthy snack after. If it happens often, be sure to get checked out by your doc!
  • I'm restarting this on Monday. I got a Fitbit for Christmas, so I'll have help tracking my distance. If you're interested we could do periodic posts here to check in.
  • The one I go to has free weights, cardio machines, 30 minute circuit room, 15 minute ab room, stretching area, plus weight machines, tanning and massage chairs. The only time I have to wait is if I go right at 5:30pm, everyone is on the treadmills. I've never had a problem with the free food, I just don't eat it. The only…

  • Thanks for sharing this. I just reached running 10 minutes straight. Feels amazing.
  • Communication. Almost every problem my hubby and I have had came down to poor communication. Be clear about what you want, need, expect, desire, fear, ect. The rest will fall into place, imo.
  • That's awesome! I've been crazy busy the last week or so, I've been walking/jogging, but haven't logged it. I will start posting again on Monday. Lets complete this challenge!
  • I do something similar. I cook a large amount of something (pork roast this week) on Monday and then we eat it all week with different sides. Makes life so much easier!
  • Oatmeal and PB is my usual breakfast. Sometimes I do pears and a little bit of vanilla extract with the oatmeal instead.
  • My business partner and I will be at Gulf Wars for the first time this year. I'm hoping to be able to keep up my exercise schedule while we're there.
  • Heh, I'm starting to wonder. It'd be great to have some company!
  • Tell her you love her, everyday. My hubby does this, it means the world to me.
  • Tahini is also easy to make. Lightly toast sesame(benne) seeds then blend in food processor. Add a little olive oil if it is too dry (should look a bit like peanut butter)
  • Nothing. My hubby bought be flowers and a stuffed bear when we dated, I was surprised and thanked him. After the fact I told him not to spend the money in the future. I don't understand how giving a dead plant to the object of your affection could possibly indicate your undying affection. We figure if we want to have a…
  • Total Miles For Journey: 967 miles Miles Done: 4.5 Miles to Go: 962.5
  • I was sitting eating my breakfast and decided that although I want to do this, I feel it would be cheating to not start at the beginning. Therefore I am going to start from Hobbiton as suggested in the original post. It is still my intention to do the second half, but I think it'll be more interesting to do the whole…
