I think it would be wise to have a body composition done. When I did that, it showed me that, minus the fat (and there is a lot of it), my body currently weighs 130lbs (bones, muscle, etc). That has given me more insight into what I want to get to! Of course, seeing that there is no way the BMI # is right for me!

veggies, veggies, veggies, you will still be over, but veggies are a good solution....and low cal. Get as much activity as you can also!

This is amazing! I have been stressed out lately about not being able to get under 200. Your post gives me the encouragement I needed for today. Thank you for sharing, thank you!

Great job! You can do it this year!

I think because you are asking, you should seek professional counsel. Everyone has their own quirks but someone who is trained in determining that would be able to help you better than a website. Good luck.

You can always ask for a 1/2 portion. Even if you still pay the full price it is worth it to not over eat (to me)! Good luck, italian is my downfall!

They are definitely worth the money!

The HRM's are definitely worth the money!

I am not sure about all your questions but I do believe you should only weigh yourself once a week. Your weight is going to fluctuate daily regardless. Your mini goals can be put in your signature which you should see at the top of the reply pages...good luck!

I Love love love my polar! You are completely right!

Just keep your body guessing. Change up your routines a lot. Add interval training weekly. Your body gets used to the same old thing.

The first week is HARD! When you get a craving, drink water or get in some exercise. Eventually you will replace the cravings with good habits! It also helped me to journal the reasons I was wanting to eat. Are you actually hungry or looking for something to fill a feeling or void? When you look at that you are able to…

There is no reason you need to eat them after you workout. Average your weekly calories in/out and you will do fine.

You are probably at a plateau... This happens to me every twenty lbs... You will need to change up everything! Add in some interval exercise, high intensity, low intensity, different timing, longer workouts, or maybe even less workouts with longer harder times...Make your body guess!

I LOVE laughing cow light cheese wedges (all kinds) with the little special K crackers. You can have seventeen crackers and a wedge for 125 cals. Something with high protein is a good choice also, it will keep you full longer. I like to have hard boiled egg whites only, you can have a lot of those for low calories!!!

Those look FAB!! I am putting them on my shopping list for today! Thanks for sharing :)

go for it! go all out and get it done! you may not feel or see a difference in 2-3 lbs but emotionally you will know you did it!!!!

Very good info! Thanks for posting!

You need to tell someone you trust to take the scale away and let you use it only once a week. Pick the same time every week. Have the scale taken back as soon as you are done checking once! Weighing yourself more than once a week will make you feel bad about yourself if you are not seeing changes. I know, I was there. The…

I use a smaller plate. That way I cannot fit too much! And even if I want to go back for seconds, I feel like I can. Do your research before hand so you know serving sizes and calories that go along with it. I think that stands for everyday use too. Plan your day and you will do great!

You are SO right!!

that sounds great! Good Luck!!

take measurements, those will show you more success.

Have you looked up the entries for newbies to ready on the message board site? They have some very good descriptions about eating your exercise calories. Maybe you need to eat more of your exercise calories to lose more weight. All though for lasting weight loss and healthy lifestyle it is better for you to lose 1-2 lbs a…

I hit a plateau every twenty pounds. I payed for a trainer to make a routine for me to get me through to the next level....Sorry it's probably not much help but maybe a choice you could think about.
-
Congrats! That is an exciting accomplishment! LIve in the moment and keep on moving forward! You'll get where you want to be! Congrats again!

I buy the egg whites in a container. Quick to make, just pour and cook, and a SMALL pinch of cheddar cheese and eat with a whole grain sandwich thin. It lasts me through to lunch and is satisfying! Feel free to add me as a friend for more support!

I know that first week is a killer! Try when you are starving to drink WATER, WATER, WATER!!! A lot of times we think we are hungry when our body really needs hydration. If that doesnt work fill up on VEGGIES, VEGGIES, VEGGIES!!!

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!
