I realised I haven't updated my latest for September. .. Sunday I completed my first half marathon in 1:59:05. I am really pleased with my time. I was hoping for sub 2 hours. I have also done a post race run yesterday 5.5 miles Taking my total for the month to 59.4/100

After aiming for 90 miles in August and hitting 104...I am aiming for 110 in September. .I have done 40 miles so far this month, and my next run will be on Sunday when I complete my first half marathon! My first half marathon is closing in on me fast!!! In retaliation I am closing in on my August target and chasing down those miles 77.5/90 completed!! I got a sneaking suspicion I'm gonna blow this target out the water :-) :) bring it!!!! Happy running peeps

Today I did my first 10 mile in months!! Really pleased with my pace and the strength in my legs. In five weeks today these little beasties will be carrying me over the finish line of my first half marathon :-) Total so far this month 40.28/90 :smiley:

So I set myself the target of 60 miles this month! So far this week, I have done 02 Aug - 5.39miles 03 Aug - 6.9 miles 04 Aug - 4.45 miles 05 Aug - 8.01 miles 08 Aug - 5.46 miles Total - 30.2 miles I think I may have to revise my target for the month. .gonna up it to 90 miles :smile: Happy running everyone :smile: xx xx xx…

Hi. My name is Annette. I started running at the start of the year and I am training for my first half marathon in September this year. I have had a few set backs in my training in recent months, but the time to step it up and let nothing get in my way has come. I have 5 & half weeks left. Xx

I don't stretch before a run but I do hamstring and quad stretches when I get back. It helps me get my breath back too..xx

I keep popping on and out of mfp. I always loose my way when I'm not logging. I'm determined to stay on track. Maybe we can support and inspire each other?
