Thank you! And agree. Pictures really bring it home

Thank you! Tbh part of why I like the look of the last pic more is because (for me) my legs were kinda skinny in the skinny jean picture, just kinda . I havent gained much weight wise since then but my legs are larger and barely squeeze into those jeans, now. I like alll that muscle. So I don't mind gaining size, at all.…

Hmmm I guess, we just differ (and that's Ok). I just don't love wieght as a dtermining factor for much at this point. I mean yeah I weigh myself every so often and there is a range I know I am most comfortable in but it's a range of 10lbs and could be more again, depending on how i feel. Shockingly enough my weight doesn't…

This was an interesting read, too. I think maybe because "bulky" seems to have such a negative connotation, ppl will find offense to it. (Not all ppl but some) What I have learned through my own journey was that I actually prefer bulky me. When I was leaner I just didn't feel as well, I didn't feel like my lifts were as…

Bulgarian split squats. It's. Love hate relationship. I loved squats from day one. Hip thursts, too. Deadlifts 😍😍😍😍 but split squats i hated. Until I noticed my hamstringS I. A photo shoot I did and I swear it musta have been the split squats that brought on thG definii. And ever since, I have loved them. They are still…

I always kinda giggle at "toned", personally. This thread was an interesting read. I remember older ppl saying to me " you just want to be toned not muscular". I guess because I was a woman. And I just sort of scratched my head at that when I was very young. Now that I lift and some of those ppl still have that mindset I…

For sure my legs. But I am trying so hard to it my arms 🤣🤣🤣 one day.. one day

For me it depends. I like comments in the gym with other ppl who lift similarly to me. I guess for me those comments come from a place of respect and usually have more to do with my strength then what I weigh. I felt a little uneasy for awhile with comments mostly from women whom I know are trying to lose weight. Mainly…

So, I did this today and was pretty great ! Thanks!

So true. What find interesting, is that just last week the comment on this same pic on my IG stories from someone, was that I was now "too thin"🤦♀️🤦♀️😂😂. You truly can't please everyone and you just have to be happy with yourself. Most comments were positive TBf. Just like here.

I am in Ontario. ☺️

I am sorry you too, have been criticised. I am unsure if Canadian sizes differ from the U.S. I have very thick legs but had to work very hard to gain any sort of *kitten* and even after two kids don't have much for hips. While I do go up in size for tops/dresses more comfortably a 6/8 where as my pants are smaller. I feel…

Very true. And I didn't mean for the skinny to be seen as bad, either to clarify. But I mean, no I am not tiny. I get that. But I am also quite OK with it.

Thank you. I will never be a zero and that OK with me.

I lift heavy and carry a lot of muscle. I think perhaps you may be seeing fat on my face and breasts and assuming a lot, which I understand as I do have a found face . I measure at 27.5 inch waist 36.5 bust and just went up to 36 hip. I am 5'9 and stay around 155-165. I don't really believe in weight as a deciding factor…

It's 2 yrs maintaining for me and I totally agree, brains are weird. I know I am super strong now ,I do things I couldn't do before and my clothes are much smaller ..yet . Haha. I still see a heavier me. So weird.

Yeah. My bff smacks me when I shop with her because I still go to grab larger sizes. I know realistically that I have been wearing 2's and 4's for a couple yrs now but I still mean towards the 12's... It's such a mind trip.

What triggered it? I was 100 lbs over wieght. And I had been very low carb for quite some time, lost wieght but gained it back.. I had done tons of things to lose it but always gained it back. What made it click so those 100 lbs were lost and have been gone for over 2 yrs now? When I really paid attention to the words "…

Spin class made me want to light my hair on fire to make it interesting.

Physically my legs are just ridiculous. I love them. Solid muscle. As a person I am easily empathetic, non judgemental, able to see things from others point of views and I think that's a great thing.

Good luck on your journey!

I love lifting. And am loving how I am looking /feeling, lately. My gym has been closed since end of Nov. And I have limited equipment at home but I haven't given up.

I lift heavy, I run ( I was always a runner even while heavy) and I just count Cals on here and stay in a deficit. I eat all sorts of things no specific diet.
