What is "fit", to you?
This may not need to be in the debate section but I wasn't sure where to put it. I am just curious If there is an image of a "fit" person that you have, for yourself or in general. Like is your idea of fit based on a specific fitness goal, a specific physique, or BMI ? Did you have a vision of what it meant to be "fit " at…

Show off your favourite workout clothes (funny T's etc)
I haven't seen a thread like this and thought it could be fun. I personally like to have a little fun with my workout wear. Sometimes it motivating to have something sorta "sassy" on 😂😂🤷🤷. I will start. I hope I am not alone. It's leg day, b**ch And I met god, she said deadlift. 😁😁 I have lots more but let's see if anyone…

Who else has gym closure (due to lockdown)
How are you *really* dealing with it? Still working out as much, more even? Is your mental health suffering? Have you stayed on track? Just curious how everyone is handling it. I am a 5-6 day a week gym goer (the odd time 7, never as little as 4). So, this has been hard. I still workout at home but it's not the same. I…

Does anyone else need to see pictures to *believe* they did it
I have been maintaining for about two yrs now. I still need to see those before and afters to really *see* it. Maybe that is because there was no finish line like I had envisioned. I am still working on goals. I lift heavy. And I have strength goals. But I still don't think of myself as a *fit* person who has *done *…

Fun leg day at home suggestions ?
I miss my gym terribly, especially on leg days. And I don't know when they will reopen. I squat 1.5x my body weight and deadlift not quite double it (working in it) But at home I have a TRX and 2 25lbs dumbbells. It's not the same 😂 At home I do Clave raises Pistols Goblet squats Walking lunges Single leg deadlifts…

Next mth is my 3 yr workout anniversary.
I am just excited to see my anniversary date comin up soon, because I have been consistent. For 3 yrs (in March) I have been consistent working out and eating mindfully. I have changed my focus within the last year to muscle and strength (rather than the number on the scale) but my commitment to myself hasn't wavered. I am…

1 year apart
I had already lost a lot of weight by Dec of last year and I was feeling great at my mom's 60th bday. I didn't even believe I would lose more. Yet I didn't stop. And even I am shocked by the year difference. Never be done , just keeping going. Here's to next year .

How did you decide on a goal?
Be it weight or something else ( fitness goal, or pant size etc), how did you choose it? I don't need help on choosing goals, I have many fitness related goals. I am just curious how others choose them and have they changed as you went along?

Still don't fit into some stores shirts. Frustating.
You know, just when I am feeling pretty good about myself, I walk into a store in the mall only to find the XL doesn't fit. Seriously  . My bottom half is a SMALL in the exact same store, yet they can't make a top to fit me. Grr. Anyways, any other ladies have this issue? I know I still have some body fat to be lost…

My 50lb reward (new tattoo)
I will first say I didn't have any sort of rewards plans when i starting losing. I was rewarding myself with fitness goals, ike being able to do various pushups , b/c when I started I couldn't do a straight legged push up. It was after 30lbs I thought I may want to give myself a little reward for 50. I have always wanted a…

Non milk based recovery drinks or protien powders.
I need some sort of recovery drink for after Insanity, I don't want to buy the actual recovery drink its just too much money *yes, it may be "worth it" but I don't have the cash to spend on a drink*. I know chocolate milk would be a pretty good cheap alternative but I can't stomach milk especially after a workout out, I…

Do you still see "fat you"
To those that have lost a fair amount of weight , do you "see" it clearly, the loss I mean. Or do you still see the fat version of yourself. I have been posting alot of pictures lately b/c they help me to really look at myself. Its a strange thing, I know my size 14 clothes don't fit, I know the scale says I am down 62lbs…

Question for Insanity users
Please bare with me, if this has been asked before, I am new ;) . My sweet husband got me Insanity lastnight, as I had been talking about giving it a try for some time. I have used JM vids in the past (started in Jan with 30ds) , I have lost a significant amount of fat with her dvds, but now I just feel there a little too…

Before and After (figuring out how to post picture)
Hoping the pictures show (sorry I am new, trying to navigate). I am down 62lbs from my highest weight ( that was in 2009), 48 from Dec of this year. Excited to join the boards here and start getting help (or giving if I can). Figured I would share my success so far, this success so far is mainly through use of Jillian…
