Question for Insanity users

Please bare with me, if this has been asked before, I am new .
My sweet husband got me Insanity lastnight, as I had been talking about giving it a try for some time. I have used JM vids in the past (started in Jan with 30ds) , I have lost a significant amount of fat with her dvds, but now I just feel there a little too 'beginner".
The past couple of months i have been doing my own strength training. I LOVE free weights, love love love my free weights.
Here is my Q, there are no weights in Insanity, and I really want to work on definition in my upper body at this point. Will i miss my weights? Will I get that definition without the weights? I feel kinda silly asking as I have seen plenty of promos and Shaun T, who is obviously ripped lol but I still hesitate to put the weights down, if that makes sense.
Any of you Insanity users wanna assure me I can put the weight down, do Insanity and get some of the definition I am looking for on my upper body., please and thank you .
P.S. I only speak of my upper body as I run and my lower body is actually incredibly defined atm, so its not a focal point, not that I think Insanity will ignore my lower half lol .
