Maybe I will just eat some brownies...mmm... Seriously though, what does Eat your calories specifically mean. It seems rather counter intuitive to work out and burn 1200 calories while on a 1200 calorie diet and then be told to eat 2400 calories... Is this what Eat Your workout Calories is supposed to mean?

Due to an injury I have not been able to run. Over the past few years my run time for 3 miles has desintigrated to an abysmal 25-28 minutes. I put running aside and focused on Circuit Courses and Interval Training with a focus on heart rate goals and manipulations. I ran 3 miles last week after about 3 months of CC/IT…

The wife and I have a cheat day on Sundays. We go and get that Item which we are craving. I think it is necessary to listen to the cravings of the body as it is the bodies way of telling us what it needs or desires. All things in moderation though -- we did go to Olive Garden two weeks ago and had a huge lunch because it…

Like I said, I just made up the math based on my 8 weeks of success. I do circuit courses and strength training and have lost the weight and gained in strength. My goal of 1200 cals has worked for me and when I get to 171 (goal weight) I plan to slowly transition to a higher cal plan in order to maintain and promote muscle…

The higher my metabolism gets, the hungrier I am. I Feed the machine with small, High Protein, low fat foods. I eat around 7-8 times a day and am still losing weight at a rate of about 2+ lbs per week; sometimes more...I was averaging about 0.5 lbs per day but I slowed down the exercising for a while so I could shock my…

Caliper testing is a smart way to go. Body fat is a far better measure of overall health than weight.

Who cares about the weight really. The benefit of fat loss and muscle gain is that Muscles burn more calories. Studies have estimated that for each pound of muscle that you add to your body, you burn an additional 35 to 50 calories per day. So, an extra 10 pounds of muscle will burn approximately 350 to 500 calories a day,…

I recommend increasing your meals by double and decreasing the amount of food you are eating by half. If you consume 200 cals per meal 6 times a day, you will be at 1200 cals (thats pretty low) but the over all effect will be in boosting your metabolism, which will definitely make you hungrier... Protein shakes. Great…

I have done three of them. They are awesome. Anyone can do it. It is all interval training, so if you do interval training you will be fine. If you are a jogger, it might be difficult because you can't maintain a pace. I love it and do it while drinking beer! Great times!
