she is eating more and weighing less. I don't see what the problem is.

Hello! So glad to hear you're enjoying your routine. A common time to take a protein shake is after the workout. I work out in the evenings, then mix water and protein and drink it as fast as possible :) I know what you mean about taking water with meals, and you're right, I wouldn't take protein with a meal either (unless…

Unless you are 6'5", or running for two hours a day, that is plenty of calories and I wouldn't worry about it being too low. Once you are happy with your weight you can start bumping the calories up.

If you have a Whole Foods or Sprouts nearby, look for "shirataki noodles", they have a lot of fiber and zero net carbs, so it's good for keto and will help your poops. The noodles will probably be in the fridge near the tofu and eggs. Check the package to make sure you're not getting tofu noddles. You want ingredients of…

Tell her happy birthday Take a donut back to your desk. Eat one bite. Enjoy it. Throw the rest of that donut in the trash. Now you've partaken in birthday celebrations, enjoyed the first bite (which is the best part, isn't it) and had a nice compromise on your diet.

First of all, 2 lbs is a normal fluctuation. Second, it's also normal for your body to react a bit strangely when you start a new program. Take measurements instead of weighing yourself and track your progress from there. You're on the short side, so 1200 calories a day isn't horrible, but I hope you eat more on days when…

i am 5'7" and I am 65 kg. I do not starve myself and I refuse to do that, same as you. I eat around 1800 calories a day. At this stage, for people like you and me with just a bit of fat to lose, we can either 1) starve ourselves down to 1200 and wait, fat loss MIGHT happen, but more likely our metabolisms will just slow…

I make meal smoothies for breakfast sometimes; during summer I have one almost every day, but in the winter I am usually too cold... I use any or all of these: OJ (from my backyard trees) or water salad lettuce berries cucumber canned pumpkin frozen berries apple protein powder green tea powder or ground cinnamon lemon or…

I just opened up my girlfriend's Mac laptop because I wanted to upgrade the RAM... a) they couldn't have made it less home-upgrade-friendly if they tried b) all the metal components were oxidized (ie they used cheap components) c) cables were this weird papery plastic. Not impressed, Mac. My point is, I recommend a PC. At…

This is what's known as irony, folks.

"Added sugar" is a hard thing to track in MFP because sugar in fruit is tracked the same as sugar in a mocha. If mochas are a problem you could try switching to a latte and that will cut down quite a few calories. Honey in your tea shouldn't be so much of a problem, but maybe try using milk in your tea instead. Stevia may…

Maybe one of the entries for Calisthenics will work for really intense workouts. That's what I use for HIIT.

Have you done a deload? Take a week and just do jogs or even nothing. Deloading is critical to your progression; more info is online if it's a new idea to you. If you are training hard and want to be an athlete-- sounds like you need to check your calorie intake. You actually might not be eating enough. At the very least…

"Wrong and right" are basically irrelevant when it comes to feelings. It sounds like you hurt her feelings so she got a little revenge by cooking something she knew you wouldn't want to eat. Hopefully you both are even now and you can both grow up a little. :) You could probably stand to remember that stay-at-home moms…

Vanilla protein powder in orange juice is delishus
-
So then you weight it...
-
If your body is fighting a major infection, that surely requires a bit more fuel... why not go up to maintenance while you're sick? Maybe at least have some protein powder mixed with OJ, if you have vanilla it tastes like an Orange Julius :)

It's good in scrambled eggs with fresh mint. (Sounds odd but it's really good.) Also it's good in dates: slice it halfway to get the pit out and stuff some goat cheese in there.

I like to feel my leg hair blowing in the wind. It's a figure competition, not a shaving competition.

Have you tried sleepytime tea with stevia? Or maybe a little orange juice in a cup of mostly fizzy water?

Maybe try drinking something with electrolytes? Coconut water or Gatorade or Pedialyte? You might as well go in for a checkup and mention your thirst and they can run a blood test.

I make a different smoothie every time I make one, I've recently started using more vegetables, and I like the cucumber ones. Also this one is nice http://youtu.be/5VjFhWBj7Aw 1 red beet (chopped) 1 banana ½ tbsp. raw cacao nibs (I used 1 T cocoa powder) piece of ginger ½ tsp. hemp seeds ¼ tsp. cinnamon ¼ tsp. turmeric 1 ½…

Is it the serving size that's frustrating you? You could always enter all the ingredients before you start cooking, then see what the total is. Then divide that by 500 (estimate it) and that's how many servings you just made. See what I mean? For example, I'm making chicken soup, so enter in 1 onion, 1 pound of chicken…

Try searching for green smoothies instead, you can do some real good things for your health that way-- and you don't have to buy another device. The basic idea is, 1 fruit, 1 vegetable, 1 banana, 2 cups of water in a blender. For the vegetable, try cucumber, salad greens, spinach, I've even put a raw beet in there (I…

If your knees are bad to the point where you are considered handicapped, then no, I don't think this is the program for you. In some cases, gaining strength will make "bad knees" disappear, but you'd have to visit a physical therapist first.

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

Even if it's not covered, maybe you could afford a visit or two for an evaluation and fitness plan? Otherwise trial and error should do the trick. I had to try a few things when I hurt my knee next year. The point is, don't give up! If it hurts one way, try another until you find something.

I just requested the book from the library. I had been noticing that my butt is not doing what it's supposed to. It just flops around, even when I'm doing cardio kickboxing or something. So the book sounds like something I could use.
