Wonderful, it's a great blog and you are doing a fabulous job!

Keep going, the first three days will be the toughest. Push through it and you will do great. If it's too bad, take a bath with Epsom salts. Keep up the good work!

I am 5'7" and started at 232. Also looking to end up between 150 & 160. I'm now at 179 and would be happy to help support you.

I love my boot camp classes! I asked one of the trainers and they told me that on average you could burn 400 calories per 45 minute class. I recently purchased a heart rate monitor and the calorie burn has been as low as 315 calories (core days) and as high as 530 calories (total body days). But typically around 400 - 415…

Nike has some nice workout tops that tend to hold everything where it should be, from your tummy to your chest. I got mine at a Nike outlet and paid close to $30. It was very worth it though. After 3 children, my tummy still jiggles.

Military and/or Police Officer, but then again, I married him. :-)

My sons play the Xbox 360. They are a variety of games, some educational, some fitness related, some junk. As to the earlier response, all three of my boys (the youngest being 8) are straight A students, Boy/Cub Scouts, and athletes, not delinquents. As long as their game play is monitored and kept within reasonable…

My first question would be why are you eating foods that you are allergic to and then taking Benadryl to avoid a reaction. If your body can't tolerate a certain type of food, don't force it. You can eat very healthy and not consume foods that your body can't tolerate. Part of the weight gain might also have to do with your…

In addition to being a wife and mother (which should have been reason enough), I hold down a full time job and for the better part of 2 years was the caregiver of my mother who passed in June of completely health related illnesses. So now, anytime I feel down or want to just give up, I think of her and what a nightmare she…

My question to you would be, who are you doing this for? Are you doing this for you or to get his attention? I know his words are hurtful, but don't let them set you back. Keep up the great work and don't get discouraged. Always remember you are worth it and you can do this!

I subscribe to a blog where she has changed the meaning of MILF to be "Mom In Love with Fitness". I love the new version!

Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free. Each day is a opportunity to be better than you were yesterday. Today is a gift, that is why it is called the present, accept it and use it wisely! Make Every Day Count!

Hello all! I am Dawn and I am a wife, mother to three very active boys, and I work full time in a career where I sit all day. I am down 40 lbs (over 10 months) and have another 35 to go. My goal is the be healthy. After watching my mother die in June at the age of 68 from preventable health related illnesses, I swore to…

I started T25 this week, it is difficult even following the modifier. It is an excellent workout, and I find it very challenging. I have been doing boot camp style workouts since April, so I am already familiar with the moves. I am very sore at the moment and I've only done 3 workouts. It won't hurt you to try it, just…

I have used it and my husband still uses it. It works for him. I switched to another shake at the advice of my trainer due to the high content of soy in the Body By Vi shakes. I switched to a protein shake to help avoid muscle breakdown after working out.

Not really a joke. We had a girl apply for a job where I work and that truly was her name. La-a, pronounced Ladasha. It took every ounce of strength I had not to fall on the floor in disbelief.

dollhands, Congratulations! What a fabulous accomplishment. Keep up the wonderful work!

Having gone through a similar situation this year, the best advice that I could give you is that you need to be healthy to be there for her. If you don't take care of yourself and do what is good for your body, then how are you going to be able to help her when she needs you the most. Stay strong and keep positive thoughts…

You are not alone. I decided that having three beautiful and healthy children was more important that what my stomach looked like. And you can still wear a bikini, just choose one that is flattering and covers the areas you don't want to show off. A few years ago, I lost 70 pounds and was smaller than I've ever been in my…

My turning point was earlier this year when my mother passed away from preventable health related illnesses. Watching her die convinced me that I would never do that to my children. So, I got serious about my health. I am at the gym five days a week at 5am getting control of my health. I monitor what I eat by logging daily…

They are a source of Omega 3, Fiber, and Protein. I add them to my protein shakes as I prefer a little consistency to them. I have also added them to yogurt, again for the consistency.

Adri, what was your original motivation? What made you start this journey? We all fall of the wagon, but you have to find that desire that motivates you beyond everything else. You are a beautiful lady and you are a motivation to those around you. You can do this, you can find the motivation.
