Blueberries. Low in calories, high in nutrients, and super tasty to boot!

Only 3 of my friends are active on here anymore... I'd like some more! I'm in maintenance working on strength at the moment, if that matters, but I'll friend anyone.

Trying to lose weight quickly is why a lot of people burn out and give up. It took me four years to lose 110 pounds, so I did it slowly, but it was much more sustainable. Seconding the previous poster in starting small and working your way up. Invest in a food scale (I got mine for $10) and track everything. Don't limit…

Squats (both traditional and Bulgarian split), lunges, deadlifts, and most of all, hip thrusts have given me my butt back.

I reached my weight loss goal and was always looking forward to just feeling comfortable in my own skin, being able to run around without wearing out, and having the ability to do more challenging yoga poses. Now that I've been able to do all that, I'm working on building muscle, so the next things I'm looking forward to…

Never giving up, no many how many times you screw up. Just keep trying, keep going, and you'll chip away to your goal.

Yum. Sashimi.

I've lost 105 pounds and have quite a bit of loose skin, especially around my abdomen and thighs. It is very slowly tightening up, and it's better than having 105 extra pounds of fat on my body.

4 years and 105 pounds. I'm slow.

I've lost a little over 100 lbs (I'm 28) and have a ton of loose skin on my stomach and upper thighs. I've been strength training regularly the past 8 weeks and I notice it's finally starting to tighten a little. It may not ever completely go away, but I don't mind so much as long as I can maintain for good.

It definitely did help them a little. The biggest help was changing my birth control, though (pill to Nuvaring). I've just started strength training regularly over the past month, and so far the symptoms are a little less from that than just from pure cardio. It's only been a month and might be a fluke, but I'm hoping it's…

I gained a ton of weight because I ate like my husband. He's slim and has an active job, so he eats a lot of calories and big portions to maintain his weight. Now, I either make a separate meal for myself or have much smaller, measured portions and have lost 97 pounds. He loves pizza (I do too, of course... who doesn't?!),…

I have dysthymia, which is a constant, persistent low depression, and have experienced several bouts of major depression, the worst of which was two years ago that had me suicidal, but I've recovered from. I gained a lot of weight during the severe episodes because I just hated myself too much to take care of myself. I…

Diary is open to friends, feel free to add me. I love cooking and have a lot of home-cooked meals in it, buuuuut sometimes a fast-food cheeseburger might sneak its way in there. Just don't judge me for my love of Captain Morgan every once in a while and ice cream more than once in a while.

You can still do upper-body exercises while your knee heals. There's tons of great, free videos on YouTube that are low-impact or focus on upper body so you're not further straining your knee. One of my favorites is jessicasmithtv. She has loads of great videos, some of which offer low-impact alternatives. Another thing…

I'm not a nurse (but my mom is, and nurses are awesome!), but I used to work night shift which contributed a lot to my initial weight gain, so I know them feels. I know nurses are hella busy and it's nearly impossible to get time to eat, and I know you said you tried baggies of snacks, is it possible to bring some that are…

SW: 235 lbs CW: 151.4 lbs GW: 135 lbs Almost there!

Tons and tons of veggies. When I'm starving, I can eat a whole bag of frozen vegetable stirfry all by myself without making a huge dent in my calories. There's lots of low-calorie seasonings you can add, too, like sriracha and low-sodium soy sauce, or Italian herbs with lemon. Add some protein, too, if you're really…

Feel free to add me if you need help or just an open diary to look at. I've lost 83 pounds with 17 more to go and have been doing this for quite a while, haha.

I have a goal of 100 total but now have about 17 pounds to go. Feel free to add me if you need help with anything!

I'm a pescetarian, which means I eat mostly vegetarian with a meal involving fish about twice to three times a week. It's really easy to keep up with, and I don't miss red meat or poultry at all. I agree with what others have said: ease into it slowly by having a few vegetarian days a week to see how it feels for you.

I used to be a graphic designer/copy editor for a small local newspaper, but it was awful and I decided to go back to school for a doctorate of physical therapy. Now I'm waiting tables to get through the prerequisite classes.

As far as mixed drinks, "surprise me" in Clarksburg, WV. I have no idea what went into this thing (other than vodka), but it tastes like strawberry Starburst. The bartender that made it doesn't work there anymore, so I'll never find out how to make it myself. 2nd best was a candied apple gin martini at the Hilton Inn…

Why not make your own smoothies? It's a lot cheaper, and you can alter it to your liking. You can use fresh, canned, or frozen fruits. Add peanut butter, Greek yogurt, or whatever else you like. The possibilities are endless. Then you can add a scoop of protein powder. My favorite smoothie involves strawberries, cherries,…

Nothing. I now live by moderation and eat what I want as long as I stay in my calorie range.

Yay for this recipe for being gluten-free without using high-calorie gluten-free flour! Bumping to make when my bananas ripen a bit more.

Minimum 3, max 6. Running is my favorite exercise, but I know that I shouldn't really run every day, so I try to mix it up with yoga, pilates, strength, or even a more active hobby like walking my dog or gardening. Rest days are important, and you want to be careful that you don't burn yourself out.

I've been on Wellbutrin since January and Lamictal since February, and I've noticed my weight loss has kick-started again. I have a lot more energy to work out, instead of lying on the couch staring at the ceiling and wondering what the point of everything was. Both medications tend to kill my appetite as well.…
