I've actually cut down on the carbs and if I do have them, they're the good kind (whole wheat), and my sodium levels are in check, so I don't know what's going on.:grumble:

That's my whole point. I'm supposed to eat 1200 a day and never come close to that on a day to day basis. I'm lucky if I reach 1000. I'm afraid if I keep this up that I will go into starvation mode and then the weight will never come off!:frown:

I ate Kashi go lean cereal with light soymilk (200 cal) and for lunch I ordered pasta with grilled shrimp and marinara sauce (after eating the shrimp I didn't have the appetite to eat the pasta, so hardly any calories there). See what I mean?

I calculated the totals here on MFP and after exercising tonight I still will have over a 1000 calories to eat for my dinner and snack! How the heck am I supposed to eat that much by tonight? My doctor prescribed it to me so I'm assuming it's still okay to prescribe. So do you think I should go up to 1400 cal/day instead of 1200 that was recommended to me? And if I stay at 1200, will my body eventually come out of "starvation mode"?

I took it and it did nothing for me. I even ate high fat meals on purpose to see if I got any of the treatment effects and didn't. I was one of the lucky few it doesn't seem to bother. But also because of that, it didn't help me lose any weight. AND it costs $50 a month! It was a complete waste of my time and money.

Now I understand what I'm doing wrong. I do good to reach 1000 cal/day because the Phentermine I take makes me feel full and I don't really feel like eating. I excercise too which depletes my calories even further, so now I know to eat at least 1200 cal/day and to eat more if I excercise to cover the depletion.
