You don't have to exercise for 30-60 minutes..Even doing 10 minute bursts a few times a day helps. :)

The way I understand it, is that you more or less cut out pre packaged foods which are full of preservatives. You eat mostly lean meats, veg, fruit, seeds, nuts..

I'm so proud of you. <3 If you've been sick, maybe your body won't let go of that last pound?? I don't see how it can't come off otherwise. Only other suggestion I have is to cut out a few more calories.. Or go on a cleanse.. It'll come off. You've done so well, you truly inspire me.

It comes from the 8 or more servings of fruit and veg I eat a day..though I usually limit my fruit servings to 3/day as per my doctor's advice. I also eat mainly whole grains, nuts/seeds, and lean proteins. Don't think I'm lacking in fibre or nourishment. ;) There's nothing wrong with fruit, IMHO. There's a lot worse…

I was told my my MD that I shouldn't have more servings of fruit than veg due to the higher sugar content in most fruits while trying to lose weight.

All I can suggest is choosing foods lower in sugars (Glycemic Index)..they won't cause the crash when your blood sugar plumments. They will also stay with you longer and fuel your body gradually...eat every 3-4 hours. And Ya, what MommaPaz says..COFFEE!!!! :) :drinker:

Swimming is AWESOME! I've done this before and lost 35 pounds with swimming being my only exercise, and diet of course. It's good cardio and resistance training. Oh, one more thing.. lol Whatever pattern you go with, check the back for the measurements. YOu may be a size 14 in every dress shop in the free world, but your pattern size on the envelope will say 18-20! ;)
