Yes, 1700 calories in everyday and I burn about 300 at the gym doing weights and cardio. I've been eating a lot of food that I'm allergic to and just wondered if anybody knew about food allergies causing weight gain.

I've lost 1.5 inches around my waist, above my belly button, 2 inches around my hips, 1.5 around my ribs, and .5 inch around my waist where my pants fit, and none around my arms.

Right, I've only been eating the 1700, I don't eat more than that when I exercise. I'll start weighing my foods and hopefully see a difference.

Well maybe that's the problem then too... I use my HRM every time I workout. I do some cardio between reps, like burpees and heisman shuffle. I do do 3 reps of each exercise, I try to get my heart rate up and alternate between 2 exercises. So I'll do rows, then an ab exercise for example until I do 3 reps of 10-12 each. Do you think I should be eating less calories? I thought it was pretty crazy that I've gained so much weight in 5 months too. Last year at this time I was 138 pounds and didn't workout or eat very healthy. It's just really discouraging.

I was eating 1500 calories a day for the first 3 months, and was hardly noticing any changes. I did some research and everywhere I looked it said I should be eating 1700. I eat healthy, lots of fruits and vegetables, I drink 8 cups of water a day, stick to whole grains, and barely drink alcohol. I'm getting allergy tests…
