thanks so much guys! compund workout on my upper body has been my main focus, but as you can probably guess, just doing that is driving me loopy! i didnt know whether something like yoga would b an idea when i start to stretch the muscle out again. surely that would be ok?

i feel like this every day, i get quite obsessive and feel i should do something. anything!! on my 'rest days' i end up swimming or playing tennis, so not really a rest at all. but i suppose working out every day doesnt matter as long as it isnt at 100% effort every time?

so atm, my protein intake is very high has been for a while and im doing cardio and weight training and floor exercises, with the session progressively getting harder.. i should just carry on with this and look for results over a period of time?

its a weird reward but... i will start running again! haa sounds like a chore but i love sprinting and i really miss it, so once the weight drops, back on the track for me :D

its only gone up 3lbs in the 5 days... which is fine, but i was just slightly worried as i dont want it to continue.

i use the gym calories, especially if you enter your weight/age/height on the machines, surely that is more accurate?

to keep it simple stick to the calories you have been told to eat by mfp - it has worked on many, just remember to eat back exercise calories on the days you exercise. the only thing i can suggest is high calories, low carb and fats and moderate protein. if you are at a gym and you decide to do certain type of training,…

to get an accurate rmr it is your weight in lbs times 10 which is the calories you should be eating... so with you being 188 its 1880 to maintain ( with no exercise just sitting down all day) you minus 500 off that to lose weight so your talking 1380... so mfp is correct.. but remember that is if you do nothing all day but…
