I got my first one about a month ago. It's GREAT so far! What made me happy was my husband saying that he can start to see changes on my body from the weight loss efforts :D

This is awesome! You sound like a great brother :D I know the struggle with food desire. In the "heat of the moment" I would feel like I lost control of my body and would just eat to my tastebuds' content. But now I tell myself that I want a healthy body more than that [insert food item here] So maybe for you, when you get…

That's a good one! I had done something similar at our local park. It's a 3 mile walk, but there is no way to stop because you're surrounded by trees and you're not allowed to leave the trail.

Donna's departure was so sad!! I cried so. hard. when Ten regenerated! I was grieving for weeks. I still haven't continued the series... I'm watching it on Netflix.
-
Awesome job! It's nice to be able to see how far you've come to this point :D
-
Awesome meals! I hope to add some of my own soon once I get more creative in the kitchen :D

Yes, exactly, but that may be our greatest motivation! I think Chemistry would be fun to teach. I didn't get to take it because my high school considered Cosmetology as a form of chemistry. I missed out on that :( I was able to take anatomy though, that was pretty cool.

Howdy! I'm 22, I'll be 23 the day after my wedding in October. I'm going to start college after I get married (better financial help and all that). I'm going to try for my Master's in Education. I'm wanting to lose around 80 pounds. In my honest opinion, being a fat science teacher is about as bad as being a fat doctor :P

Oh my goodness I am dying of laughter over here! Brilliant!

My dad has Menieres Disease, so I have an idea of what you have to struggle with on a daily basis. But for you to kick butt like you did on top of the ailments is such a great thing to achieve! In my book, you went above and beyond any expectations a person could have for fitness. People with Minieres have a very high risk…

Thank you everyone for replying. This post was not intended to prove I was right at all, for those who think that. I was trying to get the facts straight, and I see that either way is appropriate nowadays. I did apologize as soon as she brought it up to be, although it didn't help. I originally wasn't planning on having a…

My fiance was as in-the-dark as I was about the invitation wording. I had invitations in my purse that were meant to go to some of his side of the family, and his mom took them out of my purse so she could hand them to the family members. So his grandma, grandpa, and two aunts will be getting the invitations the way they…

Thanks for the advice. This happened while my fiance was not around, so I fought the battle on my own. It was difficult enough to figure out how to word the invitation to where my stepdad and dad were both acknowledged,, although my stepdad is the one working his behind off to pay for the wedding. Both wording options seem…

I honestly wasn't aware of this fact, and didn't think anything of it. I do feel bad that this had hurt her feelings so much, but I did apologize and say it wasn't on purpose, and that I was just ignorant to the fact. I seriously just changed the template's wording to suit my situation, and left it at that.

My mom and I got those blank invitations, and downloaded the coinciding template for them. On the template, the example was the bride's parents inviting the guests to the marriage of their daughter to the groom, then it listed the time and place of the ceremony, then the reception. I just changed the names and put in the…

Thanks for replying. I had tried that, and I really didn't do it deliberately, but she said "It's fine, I'm used to it." Not sure what that means, but she made it pretty clear that she was not okay with it.

Haha! Yes you may be biased, but that's okay. This whole thing is nonsense, and I don't understand how I'm the bad guy here.
-
I'll will be so aggravated when I am required to post here.

My goodness! You really are an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your journey and tips with us! And the fact that you took care of your family's needs along with your own is an inspiration in itself!

Starting again here, too! I'm adding ya :) Anyone else can feel free to add me, as well.

I keep thinking about how bad I want to be a smaller, healthier me. I also think about the negatives of being overweight... especially the diseases that can come with it. Diabetes, heart problems, bad, painful joints, etc. You can do it! Food is only temporary, but happiness last so much longer. And remember that you can…

That's great! It gives me some hope that my flub of an excuse for abs can really be flat one of these days! Lol.
-
Okay, thanks! I wasn't sure exactly what circuit training was... lol I'm still a newbie here.

Very inspirational! We are the same height and looks like we have about the same body type. This is awesome, thanks for posting :)

That's a great victory! Be proud of yourself! And trust me, the more you resist, the easier it gets. I have the same problem with pizza. Don't deprive yourself completely, but pace yourself when it comes to a weakness food. :)
-
THANK YOU! Pizza is my all time favorite and I'm so happy to find an alternative that has fewer calories :D
-
I'm liking this thread! It's very uplifting.

Adding you! I need the motivation as much as you do :D
