Eat more protein and drink more water to stay fuller longer. Fill up on veggies before every meal with a glass of water. Allow yourself to have in moderation, some of the "bad" things you want. Key word moderation. Otherwise you feel deprived and will gorge.

No. Walking throughout the day is not considered "exercise". IF it is something you have to do everyday anyway. MFP says you CAN eat back your "exercise" calories. (Anything you do as additional exercise.) Ie: running 45 mins or cardio for an hour. Thats like me saying well, for every calorie I burn getting up from my work…

^^^^ This.^^^^ I know everyone has different goals, but you dont look "heavy" for your height and weight. I agree with the above. I am a 5'3 female and couldnt live on 1200 calories per day. You may lose, but are you going to eat like that forever? If not, you will gain it right back. You are setting yourself up for…

Totally agree with OP. I went to family doctor for help with weight loss tips, after OBGYN said I had PCOS. Family doctor told me to stick to 1200 calorie diet and tried prescribing me a weight loss pill. I said heck no to the pill and the 1200 calorie diet plan. I started MFP and see better advice on here.

Thanks everyone!

Do they sync only once a day or something? Not after every work out/walk?

Boss explaing how someone looked, and I quote, "she was big, I mean probally like your size". Took the knife out of my back where she put it last week and stuck it in my heart.

Whatever the flip you want.

Read the forums on here. Research on the internet. Read. Read. Read. Educate yourself. No fads. No 1200 calorie diets.

You guys are flippin awesome. Love all of your feedback. Sometimes you get set in what you think is right, and need to try something new or hear it from a different perspective. I never had my diary open to even MFP friends, because I felt like I had something to hide. Like if I had a bad "eating week"-people would judge.…

Good point, and great feedback. Will be working on logging foods more carefully. I kind of had this attitude of, "better than what I was doing". I need to step it up and buy a food scale!

Yes, I have the same problem. And I only get notifcations on my phone, not computer. guess, I am forced to do it the old fashioned was. MATH?
-
I am consuming more than 1200.... as I said above I am not finished logging today, but I havent had a day under 1300 calories.
-
When you guys weigh food to stay within macros like 40/30/30 c/p/f...do you pre-log to make sure you are set for the day? I find it diffcult to gage these things unless I pre-log. Like prepping meals on Sunday? Also, dumb question. How to you gage the 40/30/30 on MFP? Is there somewhere on the daily food logscreen that…

^Thanks. Good idea. I get caught up trying to manage calories, I forget the rest. Will be making more effort to cut carbs and add protein for balanced meals!!!

Thanks for this ^ Great advice!

Yes, I love me some peanut butter. Defintely will add more protein, and maybe less carbs. Thanks!

Yes, losing-but a little slow. I know the PCOS has a factor. But I seem to stuggle getting past the 5lbs lost mark. Sounds goofy I know.
-
OMG yes, the never ending washing of clear containers will be the death of me. Beats cleaning out fastfood wrappers out of my car

#1 for sure

Eat the nuts. Take a handful and call it good. If you get too picky about counting it like that you will drive yourself....NUTS. It's good to be mindful of calories and portions, but if you forgot the damn measuring cup, dont over think it.
