Potassium always helps me! I seem to bruise less often, they're not as bad when I do bruise, and they go away quickly

Lightly steamed green beans or asparagus are great dipped in hollandaise sauce

Avocados, zucchini, green beans, kale (which I'll eat sauteed with olive oil or bacon or raw in a salad...Love it!), broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers. Pretty much if its green, I'll eat it haha. I like zucchini and yellow squash probably the best out of all the veggies because I can spiral slice them into noodles, sautee…

Duh... It says food grade right in the title haha. I still wouldn't use this to eat as it's going to be much lower quality than the coconut oil processed wih the intent to consume.
-
I personally wouldn't eat this particular one. I make soap and body products (lotions and whatnot), and this would be the type of coconut oil I would use for that. Especially since no where in the description that I could see, did it say food grade. I'd stick with organic oils... Maybe check Tropical Traditions since I…

If you have to get deli meat and don't have many options available, you could do MUCH worse than boars head. A lot of their flavors don't have sugar added, like the Cajun smoked turkey or sundried tomato ham (which is really good). You can check their website to see what has sugar and what doesn't

I was going to, but it'd have to be after the superbowl :)

I'm definitely not an alcohol hater... I belong to a wine club in fact. Brands aren't really gonna matter. If you like more expensive stuff, go for it, if you like mid shelf stuff, have at it. I avoid flavored vodkas and rums, and any crappy mixers of course (sodas, juices since they're not going to be 100% juice, etc). I…

See how you do without it and then decide from there. I know I feel better and lose the bloat when I don't drink, but I do enjoy the occasional wine or drink out with friends. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and makes it more likely you'll make poor food choices.

I do this all the time. I don't however use sweetener or cocoa, and I use MCT oil, which is a more concentrated version of the good fats found in coconut oil. I also often replace the butter with ghee if I'm avoiding dairy (ghee is clarified butter with the milk solids removed). When I have bulletproof coffee, like I had…

Great job! I need to watch mine more I think. I just about ate a Larabar with like 35carbs... Maybe I should find a slightly less carby snack haha

Weird! You can sign up through this link: http://fab.com/vr4kg1 and then the link to the product is http://fab.com/sale/16059/product/90697. I wonder if they're getting low so they've taken off the regular pages? A side note: If you check the Foodie shop (click Kitchen, then Foodie)...TONSSSS of freerange meats and crates…

I'm in for February. I ditched the whole30 about 19days in so I need to give it another try. I successfully completed one last year so I need to get my butt in gear this time
-
This is awesome, thank you!

I do this too! Completely changes the taste of salads too depending on the kind of salsa. Like for taco salad I might use green or a spicy red, but for salmon salads mango salsa is killer
-
I was drooling over the one on nomnompaleo but can't justify shelling out that kind of cash on something I may fail miserably at. This seemed like a great alternative.
-
You're welcome to add me. I just started logging again after blowing my whole30

This was too cute! I too view pork as a daily supplement :) My husband is limited on his cooking skills. He can do toast, boxed macaroni & cheese, and anything with microwave instructions (which he still sometimes gets wrong). Imagine my horror when he sent me a text while I was at work and he was at home with a CONCUSSION…

I made ranch last night with about half a container of plain greek yogurt, some onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, white and black pepper, ground thyme and some celery seed. I'm not sure the amounts, I just started small (like a tsp of each, less on the ground thyme since its strong..more like 2 shakes of that) and…

I'd agree with detoxing. When I first went paleo/primal I experienced the same thing, and after about two weeks I had great skin again. Anytime I eat something I shouldn't (pizza, beer, etc), I usually get a pimple or 2 in the days following eating back on plan, then back to great skin.

Agreed, those cheesecakes sound great but the fat is what keeps ya full so I stick to full fat.

This morning I had smoked salmon philly rolls for breakfast (homemade) I took a sheet of nori which was .5carbs, smeared some softened cream cheese on it, put smoked salmon, cucumber strips and capers in and rolled it up and sliced. I ate 2 entire rolls and was stuffed. No one says you have to eat eggs :)

Yup! There are many times I don't eat until 1p because I'm just not hungry. There are some days you'll wake up starved, and some days you won't even think about food for hours and hours. Listen to your body and eat when you're hungry :)

As long as you blend it, it shouldn't be oily or greasy
-
Omg. Best thing ever. It is not a tumahhh!

I count net personally, but some people might count total. I try to keep my carbs 50 or below, but since up to 100g is still within the weight loss target area per the carb curve map in Primal Blueprint, if I have like 70 total and 53 net for example, it doesn't make much ddifference to me since either way I'm less than…

It doesn't work, and the rules about what you can put it on/in make it so you can hardly use it anyways. Example: you can't put it on a salad with dressing (dressing is a liquid, can't use it with liquids). Ok so you put it on a dry salad, it falls right off. Can't put it in soups, not on sandwiches with mayo or mustard or…

Yes ma'am! And if you're on Pinterest, there are some really great looking spaghetti squash recipes posted

Well, I've been primal since August, so not six months but you can add me if you'd like :)

So since the topic is about where to eat out, where would YOU go for completely 100% paleo legal food (in a restaurant, not at home)? I think it would make sense to include your own suggestions instead of bashing everyone else's.
