Found out "she" actually has a penis.

A few more notes: Being that protein powder is a supplement, not a food, manufacturers can make any claims they want about their product. There's no regulation. Be wary -- other than the manufacturers, nobody knows how much protein is actually in these powders. One of my buddies on Reddit works in a lab, and did a sample…

Market Pantry (Target) because I'm a *kitten* for our owned brands — yeah, even the ones with ugly packaging — and it's a decent value. $17 for a month's supply. 140 calories, 25g protein. Whey and soy ingredients. Can't comment on taste or solubility because I throw it in the blender with berries, milk, and greek yogurt.…

I think we can infer from "assault weapon", the OP is referring to a weapon that is not intended to defend your home from an intruder, nor kill an animal for consumption or in defense. He's talking about a weapon designed to inflict maximum damage on a grand scale, whatever the specific term for that may be. Since you're…

This. I'm convinced I'm never going to get married. According to these MFP forums, marriage and/or long-term relationships lead to petty situations where couples can't even have a simple, honest conversation with each other. Having a bad day because [significant other] [did something/didn't do something/said…

I do not understand Americans' obsession with guns. And yes, it's an obsession -- glancing over the replies here, we aren't talking about something sensible like about owning a rifle or two for hunting deer. No, we're talking about egotistical, fearful idiots who think they're Vigilante McJustice, when in reality they're…

Au contraire, Miss Emily Mae. :)

Whoa, you're like King Midas, except instead of gold, things turn in to penises. That's impressive.

Ah, stereotypes. Glad to see they're alive and well. My type: women who can think beyond the kind of outfit a man wears.
-
Well, that's it, I'm never getting married.

There will always be people who seek sexual attention, be it through flirting, dressing "provocatively" (that's awfully subjective), or what have you. The gym is no exception… Deal with it. People will also refuse to wipe down equipment, and they'll hog machines between sets, and they'll forget to re-rack their weights,…

I'm going to get a tattoo that says "I hate people who can't spell". On my lower back. With some tribal crap around it. And maybe some random Chinese characters.

Simple: Don't go to a ****ing buffet. Food that sits out for hours is not quality food. If I'm going to pay someone to prepare a meal for me, it had damn well better be fresh. If you're going to cheat and load up on calories, at least make it worth it. I'm probably in the wrong place as a foodie, and I'm usually not one to…

Their patio is tiny, but fabulous if you can grab a spot. Great beer list, too!

I'm not a player, I just crush a lot.

Grand Old Day has turned in to a cluster**** of massive proportions, from the crowds of *kitten* to the complete stupidity that is an $8 wristband just to buy a $10 beer. So, no, I did not go. I rode my bike around the river with some friends, and had beers on their patio. :P Grand Ave is a lovely place to hang out on any…

I've mostly given up on beer since going keto-friendly, so I've switched to red wine and/or whisky. Still enjoy a beer on occasion, but I'm really liking all varieties of reds (chiantis, malbecs, and pinot noirs seem to be favorites so far) That said, the Don Draper in me prefers a single-malt Scotch over anything else.…

Ah, this would look lovely, printed in Papyrus, framed, and hung next to a Thomas Kinkade painting.

That's a fantastic idea. I'm down.

And by "killer" you mean literally?! I still haven't found the guts to try the little wall at REI :(

I'm your neighbor in Minnesota.

I wish I would have taken pics when I was 230+ and started losing. The "after" photos are so dramatic. Good luck, keep that smile.

ibran yes, i'm a hipster.

Sorry, I forgot to take pics of mine, but thank you all for sharing yours. :)

Howdy, forum. Born in Minneapolis, traveled around and studied abroad, but now calling Robbinsdale my home. Looking to lose another fifteen pounds, and get in better shape so I can take advantage of the great outdoors — would love to spend more time cycling, kayaking, hiking, and running!

YMCA Downtown Minneapolis or YMCA Northwest (New Hope)... also willing to try a new Y! I tend to do ~30 minutes of lifting or some cardio a few times a week... might be down for some racquetball or other stuff to make my workouts a little more social.
